I am planning on going to Disney on Nov 29- Dec 5 and I was wondering if you think it will be still be too crowded from Thanksgiving? Also, how will the Pop Warner affect crowds and where do they usually stay (PoR or All Star)? Thanks.

According to the books about Disney World, this is actually a GREAT time to visit. The crowds are light after Thanksgiving (up until Christmas that is, after that, forget it) and the parks look beautiful for Christmas.

Pop Warner will be there for at least part of your visit. A thread check can give you the exact dates for them. this year they are staying at BOTH Port Orleans Riverside AND the All Stars, maybe even Pop Century. I read here that they have 1200 rooms JUST at Port Orleans !!

Last year we went the Sunday after Thanksgiving. That day and Monday were crowded. Tuesday thru Thursday - the parks were empty and we walked into everything with NO waits.

I'm going to be there the exact same days as you except I arrive a day later. I've heard from just about everyone that I've asked that it is one of the best times of the year to go, with crowds being very light, weather being perfect and the parks all decorated for the holidays. :xmas:
