Soarin' - easy to find a return time with less wait and since the film is old and decaying ....

I don't believe the Soarin' film is decaying in the slightest. However, since Disney didn't budget for a clean projection room, the show is subject to a lot of dirt on the film. Rumor has it that the new version will be digital one, so hopefully those big dirt chunks are a thing of the past.

I never wait longer than 30 minutes for anything. But I chose Soarin', Peter Pan's Flight and Toy Story Mania.

PPF is just ridiculous to wait over 5 minutes for. It's a very old, very short right. It's like you walk on, sit down and the immediately stand back up thinking "oh.. But I just got on!"

Soarin's wait time is ridiculous. I'll just wait 10 minutes for the same experience in California

Toy Story Mania looks fun and all, and I still haven't even been on it.. But I have the wii game. And to me, the ride looks like a wii game with moving cars. If I want to ride an attraction the theme is to shoot targets, I'll get in the single rider line for Men in Black at Universal or just wait 15 minutes for Buzz Lightyear.

I've always had a hard time understanding how a ride that doesn't stop moving gets a line that is over an hour long. I can sort of understand Haunted Mansion because after you get out of the stretching room, it's a nightmare of a bottleneck...but Pan and Little Mermaid don't stop moving (hardly), but yet there's usually a long line for both.

Supply and demand. Just because a ride has a constantly moving load doesn't mean that its capacity is infinite. If a ride can run 900 people an hour, and 1500 people an hour want to ride, then you're gonna get a line.

I was glad I had a FP for 7DMT. That ride was so short I couldn't imagine waiting an hour and a half for it. I think I would've felt super disappointed.

Some rides hold sentimental value for me (like Peter Pan). So if I didn't have my kids with me and I didn't have anything else to do, I would probably wait 45 minutes for it.

With my kids...I wouldn't wait for anything for that long. Potty training is not conducive to standing in line for close to an hour with no escape.

I went with Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Peter Pan, and Toy Story Midway Mania.

Seven Dwarfs: I'm still bitter that we had to wait over an hour for this thing. I get that it's the newest ride, but saying that the ride doesn't justify its wait time is an understatement.

Toy Story Midway Mania: I've only been able to ride this attraction once in DCA, which surprisingly enough, was a 45 minute wait. I thought it was fun enough, but for me it wasn't very immersive and relied too much on screens. The occasional 3 hour waits for this thing in DHS is just insane! I much prefer Buzz and MIB.

Peter Pan: I like it okay but it's just too short of a ride to justify that wait time. I was thinking about putting Jungle Cruise instead, but at least it's a decently long ride. The only explanation I can come up with for why Peter Pan has such long waits is nostalgia.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (too short of a ride to wait that long), Peter Pan (first, good luck finding it to be 30 minutes and even though its a classic, not one of my favorites), and Jungle Cruise (3rd one was a tough one - it was between Jungle Cruise and BTMR) are my 3 choices.

I went for 7DMT, Peter Pan and Jungle Cruise, I like all of them but wouldn't want to wait over 45 minutes, if anything 7DMT is the most disappointing of those, feels very short!

Exact same for me! When DW and I went back in Nov for our anniversary trip we went at rope drop at MK and rode PPF, IASM, HM, SM and BTMRR in an hour. It was awesome

As much as I love Soarin', that queue is about the most boring hallway in the parks!

Not to mention much of the queue is in the bowels of the building with little to no wi-fi or cellular coverage, so you can't even check the message boards while you are waiting.. ;) (I was actually disappointed with the park wi-fi on our trip last month. It was pretty poor consistently. And it wasn't just the wi-fi.. cellular coverage in general was spotty.. there were several times it took more than a 1/2 hr for a text to go through. There were several times where I sent the 'where are you?' text, and found them across the park before they even got the text... and we have AT&T.. supposedly the best coverage in the parks.. but that's a rant for a different thread..)

The new queue for Peter Pan is pretty cool. Probably the best of the interactive queues to date.. But I still wouldn't wait 30-45+ min for it.

I only picked Peter Pan. Would wait 45 minutes for all the others, unless another major attraction had a wait time that was less. For example I wouldn't wait 45 minutes for Splash if Big Thunder had a 30 minute wait. But if both were 60 minute waits I would just pick one.

I think only going to Disney every few years means I am more likely to wait for things as waiting fpr an hour while on holiday is better than waiting 5 years for the next trip.

Went with 7 Dwarfs, Soarin, and Test Track. I don't go on Tower of Terror and Expedition Everest anyway, so they're automatically skipped.

I voted for PPF..JC and BTMRR..Peter pan is one of my faves but usually only get to ride it every other trip...I just can't justify that wait. I've never liked Big Thunder...just doesn't do anything for me...so I'd gladly skip that anytime...and I can't ever recall riding JC...but I really want to give it a shot someday...hopefully next month!;)

I've never understood how the line gets so long on PPF, the longest I've waited was 35 minutes for Seven Dwarfs, I was beyond shocked to see the line below 65 for stand-by so I just went for it.

This year we waited an hour and thirty minutes for Peter Pan, it won't happen again. The worst part was when we were at the very end and you see all the people with FP just walk right up and go in....
