Not really night life

I have been doing the Disney thing with the folks for years. I am in college now, and am looking for something to do at night when we retire from the parks. I'm not really looking for Pleasure Island or that kind of night life, but just something to do around the WDW resort at night and maybe meet some other people my age doing the same thing. Thanks!

The Boardwalk is more laid back and less glitz and bass. The ESPN bar is great if you like sports if not tehre are plenty of other bar-entertainment areas. West-side is cool in DTD also.

You can go to Pleasure Island and simply not go to any of the clubs. A large number of people go and just walk around, maybe buy a drink at the outdoor kiosks. Plus, you don't have to pay an entry fee unless you plan on going to the actual clubs.

Personally, the only time I've ever met someone worth talking to is outside or on the bus home from PI- you can't talk or mingle in most of the bars and clubs anyways, too loud.

If you can handle the cigarette smoke (which I can't), Jelly Rolls is a blast. It's a dueling Piano Bar at the Boardwalk resort. I believe you have to be over 21, but the place is so much fun. There is however a small cover charge. I believe it's like $5 or something.

Or if you if your under 21 you could always go to the Comedy Wharehouse at PI. I know you said you didn't want to go there. But I love going to CW and I hate PI. I'm just not big on drinking and I really hate to dance (lol, who would of thought I would say that with the job I have, hahaha) in clubs. But CW is soooo much fun. And if you go on a Thursday or Monday night (but mainly Thursday) the place is full of college age people.

If you haven't gone before, I reccomend Disney Quest...it's good on those rainy days and boring nights....it's open until 11pm on most nights. Great Fun

IMHO the best nighttime activity at WDW is the Adventures Club at PI followed by the Comedy Warehouse (also at PI) and Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk. A great evening is to hit AC when it opens at 7:00 stay for until the last show and head across the street and catch the last show at CW. A one night ticket for PI is about $20 and can be extended to a 5 night pass for I believe an additional $5. Jellyrolls is 21 and up and the last time I went the cover was $7.

Yes Margaritaville! We went on our last trip and it was awesome. We just saw the house band but they were great. It really is worth the trip out to Universal City Walk.

Jelly Rolls is fun, though if you have a group it is better, trying to stump the players. Adventures Club is fun also.

If the weather's nice, try one of the MiniGolf courses, Fantasia Gardens or WinterSummerland (FG is the better, in my humble opinion). They let you tee off until 11, and you can play until midnight. It's $10 per player for 18 holes, and you can play a second round of 18 for half price that night (and each area has two courses, so you won't have to repeat yourself).

Find a younger cast member and ask them where they go when they get off work, there are plenty of hole in the wall places that you will have an absolute blast at. No offense, but i don't want to give them away here, we like to have places to call our own.

If you mean giving them songs they don't know, thats easy. a few of the pianists (especially the mullet guy) seem to have no intrest in playing anything but the standards. the signs in the bar are false advertising "you name it we play it" ha ha right. :fork: :animwink: my friend requested the Mario Bros. theme, The Darkness, and various oddities that they wouldn't play. because of that I stopped putting in for requests.
