On the day we visited Oslo, there was an event at Akurshus to celebrate an anniversary having to do with their version of the Supreme Court. The Prime Minister and the King were both there with a bunch of other bigwigs. There were lots of people in traditional costumes working the event. It was very fun to see.

The first one is actually a Pelton turbine wheel used where high pressure water is available for hydro power generation.

It was the warmest day of the year when we visited Kristiansand. It was probably only 65 or 70 degrees, but EVERYBODY seemed to be out in shorts. And the beach was was a very popular spot that day
