Nomad Lounge - how busy?

How busy does Nomad Lounge at AK gets? Is there downtime for it? I was thinking of going around 4:30 before River of Light.

I find it is very hit or miss. I've been in when it was practically empty, and I've been there at the same hour when it was very crowded. However, I've typically always been able to get a seat somewhere within a few minutes even on the busiest days, especially with a small party. It's one of my favorite lounges on property, and it's well worth checking out.

Best kept secret in a.k. I have been unable to find a table on occasion. A table outside on the river is a score. The food is a little off the beaten path, though not far, so some nugget eaters avoid. 4:30 should be ok, I would think close to r.o.l. also good, but I've never been then. Yum! Wishing I was there right now. Torture. Great drinks too. Pricey, but I'm sure you know that.

"Nugget eaters avoid" - that's funny.

Have hit there many times, and generally have not found it crowded; and that includes Summer months, October/November, and January. It has actually become a favorite of ours, especially on hot/muggy summer days!

Every time I have been it was pretty empty and I was able to get the nice comfy seats inside. Honestly I think other guests just don't notice it or because its a "Lounge" they veer away for fear that its not kid friendly.
As for downtime - Yes there is always time for it at least for me and my party! Relaxing with a drink and noshing on some appetizers always helps during that midday slunk. Yes Dawa Bar is also a great place for this but since its in the middle of Harambe its always loud, busy and there is no air conditioning. FOr some reason even if you have to sit outside at Nomad its always tranquil and seems to not be as hot in the little nook its located.
