I've been meaning to post this for a while now, but only just getting round to it.
There has been talk before about mobile phone photography in the parks, and when I was out there in June/July I decided it would be a perfect opportunity to try out my Nokia 808 with its 41mp sensor.
Now, it won't be replacing my always-on-me Panasonic TZ30 pocket camera, let alone my SLR, but it is a handy device to carry around.
I've put up a few test images taken at the full resolution and then done a few crops of that same image. As all the marketing hype suggests, you can 'shoot now, zoom later' and this is certainly the case.
Granted, that isnt the real point of a sensor that size, it is more so at 5mp and 8mp you can take photos with a 3x zoom without losing any quality due to the over-sampling.
Anyway, here is the link to images, which, are more just a case of showing the power of what can be done more than being shown for amazing quality.
