No WDW Vacation Planner DVD?

I am getting mixed messages from Disney on this. I ordered my Disney Vacation Planner DVD and got this response from Disney:

Not sure about the US, but the UK has a DVD planner option, which is restricted to UK residents

How did you get that response from them. I was able to order the DVD from disneyworld.com. Did you order yours from disneyworld.com and then get that response? Just curious.

I have ordered 2 videos and a DVD for 2003 off the disney.co.uk website (not all at the same time) and i have not recieved one!!

never had any problems before.

I placed an order through Customer Services on the US website and got the response. Has anyone actually recieved the DVD???

Is the content on the DVD the same as the 100 years of magic videos from last year?? Someone help me on this before i try to order one. thanks.

That sucks!!!

If Disney says they are going to send a DVD, they should send a DVD. It costs way less to produce a DVD than it does for the Video Cassette. Its this simple: No DVD, don't put a DVD option.

What I think is ment by the option of format (DVD/VHS) is a sort of poll over which format WDW fans would prefer. NOT what you are going to get. I bet they will still send you a VHS tape in teh mail.

Then their legal department needs to help them out with the verbage. It sure sounds like you're choosing what they send you.

Sure sounds like you're ordering a DVD. It doesn't say "One day we'll offer..."

Heck, there will come a day that video cassettes are forgotten antiques...like 8-tracks. Case in point, we have three DVD players (if you count the PS2) and only one working VCR (the other eats tapes, but the tuner works fine.)

Once DVD recorders get down below $300, VCRs are dead.

Perhaps we should notify Disney about this issue. If we all show our displeasure, perhaps we can motivate them to take action. This is in their best interest!

I did the same thing here in the US and have yet to receive jack squat.
