No wand in new DVD.

I would like to see the wand taken down, but don't think that it will be for one reason...$$.

Though, personally, for now, I would like to see those funds go into taking something else down, though I won't say what *COUGH...the hat...COUGH*. OOPS! Did I say that out loud?

what do you guys think of the new dvd newayz! im debating whether to order it!! is there nething special about it compared to like say the vhs a year ago?? i no its free, but if theres nothing to different i think i may just wait until a new one comes out.

almost the whole video is new! Also, the special features are really cool. :animwink:

I am partial to the wand since my short stint as a cast member was in 2000 and it was the primary icon at the time. Spaceship Earth will be naked without it!

I don't think the wand is going any time soon. I just got the new "where the magic lives" sweat shirt and on the sleeve they show all the Icons and Epcot has the wand in it!! AND I LIKE THE HAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lol:

There's no JIIWF Preview (it is however in the main video).

The features include:
Attraction Previews: ToT, TT, HM, PotC, AKL, Kilaminjaro, M:S, and maybe one or two more that I can't remember

An interactive map of all the resorts and parks (the parks have clips from Pal Mickey as well)

Each resort now has its own video approximately a minute long.

You can watch attractions from the main video in categories. Ex. "Big Thrills" might include ToT, M:S, Splash, and Dinosaur.

Overall, the DVD is very good- much better than last year, and definately worth the money! :lol:
