On to Kouzzina

The kids spotted this hidden Mickey behind the counter after checking in

We have eaten there twice now, and both times we were pleased with the food. This is a picture of the Kouzzina sampler. We picked the lamb meatballs for me and the shrimp for my wife. We had them made spicy. They were excellent. The meatballs aren't gluten free, and the pita bread off of the plate wasn't either. But they made accommodations so Crystal could try everything else.

Crystal had the Greek Salad and for the second time I had the Kouzzina trio. Very good!

Just about all packed up. 9:55 ME pick up. We were lucky enough to get a random TSA screening, so now we cannot check in at the resort. :mad:

Anyway, we had a great trip and loved our Christmas in Disney. We are about to grab breakfast at the Captain's Grille before heading to the airport.

Thanks. No other trips booked yet, but we will do both DL and WDW this summer. Probably DL first in late June, and WDW late July and early August

I wanted to log in and tell you how much I enjoyed your report. I haven't been on much lately, but it looks like you guys had a wonderful Christmas trip. Loved seeing all of the pics of Osborne Lights and that pic with all of the ducks (Donald, Daisy, Scrooge I believe) was awesome! Glad you also got to see one of the bald eagles. We saw one perched on the Swan back in 2012...of course, it took another forum member and closer examination of my pics post trip to make that identification. Ooops. :facepalm: We've got some dear friends that arrived at WDW yesterday. Your FP info and crowd details have me a bit worried for them as they are at a resort that has shifted to FP+ only and they are like a group of 12 with very little WDW experience. Still, your pics of all of the décor have me hopeful that it will be magical for them.

A belated Merry Christmas to you and your family and wishing you safe travels home :)

Thanks very much. Sorry no cakes this time. We opted for the Christmas tree in the room instead.

I'm glad the boat captain pointed out the eagle. Never saw one in the wild before. I'm glad we got to see him fly yesterday. Amazing to see

Hope you have a great new year (accident and drama free). I look forward to seeing more of your cake pics!!!!! Happy New Year to you!

Just an FYI, if you fly to WDW AirTran and return Southwest you cannot use the resort airline check in. If you fly SWA down and return AirTran you can. This Is a bummer. We have to take our luggage and check in at the airport. Found out about 7 this morning, but they did weigh our luggage at the YC for us. Concierge printed our boarding passes as the airline workers couldn't. No big deal I guess. We will just use the sky caps
