And no smoking tomorrow too. I quit a few years back and am very glad I did. I hear that the State of Florida is getting ready to pass a constitutional amendment that would ban smoking in all public places in Florida. I think the only places you would be allowed to smoke is in your own private property (house, car), some bars and tobacco shops. As I understand it, all other places would be off limits. Then WDW could get rid of those nasty "smoking spots" in the parks and do away with the smoking rooms in the resorts. Yeah!

The difference is that the guy next to me eating a burger is not affecting me in any way...whereas the person 50 feet from me smoking is affecting my eyes, throat, etc. My aunt quit a few yesrs back, and the thing that amazes her the most is she can't believe SHE used to smell that bad! LOL :lol:

I live in Florida and yes they are thinking about banning smoking in public places. I havent heard about the vote in about a month though. I hope it gets past though. Smoking is so disgusting.

My grandfather died of lung cancer and emphysema, directly attributed to his 2-pack-a-day habit. It was a slow, awful way to go, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Smokers, QUIT and live to spend more time at WDW!!!

Erica.... someone's got to pay for that bypass surgery....you don't think that these shelfasses will be able to get insurance when they start excluding these high risk over eaters the same way that they are doing the smokers.... I AGREE that smoking should be banned.....but don't be so self righteous..... after all I don't object to people in a resturant just because they eat burritos.... methane is objectionable too! by the way did you get the play on words.....Two all beef patties.....(too all emergency heart atacks)....special sauce...(special recesitation).....lettuce, cheese (lett us pray, cheez) ...etc..... You deserve a grave today.... :lol:

I don't think parents should be allowed to smoke...even if they don't do it around their kids and think their kids don't know...their kids do...my nephew got my sister and brother-in-law to stop smoking
Smoking is NASTY...and then there are the REALLY ignorant people who smoke in queues at disney despite a clearly stated rule against it...

I smoked three packs a day until September 25, 1985.... It was a Wednesday and it was raining........ It was one of the most dificult things to do in my life... that's why I remember it and celebrate every year...... do not ever start.... if you do smoke Quit and keep it that way! My wife smokes..... in the garage...(her choice)....maby one of these days she will quit.... hope hope....hope....
