No schedule for Fantasmic until Nov 9th??

The WDW website says "No Schedule for Today" for Fantasmic from Nov 1st - Nov 8th. A performance time isn't shown until Nov 9th. Is there some sort of reason for this? Is Fantasmic down until the 9th or is the show's start time just yet to be determined?

I thought that I had heard that there was to be some sort of refurbishment on Fantasmic. I'm not 100% sure, though. I'm sure that someone here will know.

That is correct. Fantasmic has been scheduled to be refurbed the first week or so of November for quite some time. I believe this was first announced in mid to late summer.

the inaccurate WDW website strikes again! You'd think that would be listed under the operational updates. I hope all goes as planned then so we can catch the show before we leave on Nov 11th

From what I understand, some of the rockwork stage fell into the moat.

The rehab. is to fix some rockwork on the stage. I don't know the full details, but apparently, a part of the stage was broken, and until now, a temporary fix has been in place. It did cause cancelations for one night (the day the accident occured), but Disney decided to wait until the off-season to perminantly fix the issue. It's been known since July.

Just an FYI!

the rock work did not fall, but it cracked and was spoted in a rutine maitanance check. The shows were canceld that night becuase that section was located over one of the main gas lines used for the pyro effects. the temproarly fixed it that day, and was open the next night.

Fantasmic will be closed November 1 - 8 and reopen on the 9th. When Fantasmic reopens, Lights, Motors, Action Stuntshow will close for at least one week.

Thanks for the clarification. As you can tell, I was a bit confused.
