So, I get a message today at work.

I need to be in Tampa March 23 and 24 (Monday & Tuesday). The natural thing to do is extend it to Friday

So I call DVC and check what studios are available.

Tues night - SSR and OKW
Wed night - Nothing
Thurs night - Nothing

So I wait list for OKW and SSR

Now I call regular reservations. I was able to slide into Coronado Springs.

Here is hoping my wait list pans out.

Either way, suprise WDW vacation, I can't complain about that (sorry to gloat )

Is there anything better than a last minute holiday??? Hmmmm ... well, maybe one that you've been planning for ages and are looking forward to more than anything else in the world. But the last minute one is right up there too ...

Well, it's not quite Orlando, it's in Tampa - which is still a heck of a lot closer than NJ

We tend to have a lot of meetings in Tampa. It turns out, if you average from where everyone flys from, Tampas is the cheapest place to fly people from all across the country into (aside from Vegas, and thats not too good on an expense report). We also happen to have a large office in Tampa, so it works out well.

The company does not mind if you extend the dates on your flight, as long as it does not cost more. Very often it ends up saving the company money if you extend it into a weekend.

I tell you. My kids and I have a trip/cruise planned for this summer and sure we are looking foward to it, but this little suprise one has me all psyched up for some reason.
