No O'hana reservations past January 1st

Hi!

I'm trying to make dinner reservations for O'hana during the 2nd week of January, but when I called Disney Dining on our 180 day mark at 7:00am they said O'hana hadn't posted their reservation times yet.

I've called everyday fro the past 4 days, and still no luck. Anyone know why reservations aren't available yet? They aren't fully booked, there just aren't any reservation time slots past Jan. 1st 2011.

Assuming its not the 180 day thang, it may be a refurb at a guess:shrug:. Though last year I had problems with Sanaa and that was similar but turned out to be a system glitch for on line bookings.

Isn't the 2nd week in Jan. more that 180 days out still? I'm going 1/11 to the 16th. The way I calculate it 180 days is this coming week.

You can currently only book up to 7 January unless you have a resort confirmation number. But there is availability on the 7th showing on-line.

We are staying on property and our check in day is less than 180 days out, so we should be able to. I'll check now.

I just called Disney Dining and they said there still isn't any availability past January 1st

I'm going to go try the online system.

I checked online just for the heck of it, and while breakfast times are showing up, no dinner times for the whole first week of January are showing. I hope they get it sorted out and you can get your adr!

I hope they are going to spend the downtime trying to figure out how to put the cheesy potatoes back on the menu.. and the chips/dips too :fork:

I was finally able to get our Ohana reservations for dinner on Jan 9. I tried yesterday and was unable to, but late this morning I tried again and it finally went through (online)!

For some reason the reservation center does not let you book Ohana's as a party of one. I ended up talking to someone from Ohana's over the phone to get my reservation booked. Since a party of two would many times be at the same kind of table as a party of one and all that, the woman form Ohana's booked me as a party of two so I could have a reservation there. She also said that if I want to booked it again that I could just book it as a party of two online or over the phone when I call Disney Dining.

I am booked for the dinner and that will be my last night at the Polynesian. Since I am staying at the Polynesian for 5 days I might walk from my room to Ohana on one of the mornings to see if they can take me in for breakfast. I could get my Lilo and Stitch 2 disc dvd signed. This is not something that I will for sure do, but it's one of the things that I might do.
