No more Key to the World?

A sad day. I was explaining to a friend about these new magic bands (that I am not too familiar with) and realized that I might not being getting a Key to the World card for my trip in December! Is this true? I love those things!

Noooooooooooo! I hope it's an option! I have saved all my cards from as far back as I can remember getting them!

As mentioned in a post earlier today about the touch-to-pay system going down, CMs were told to ask the Guest for their room card if they were trying to use a MagicBand. So at least for the time being they'll still be issuing cards for people who get MagicBands. Whether they still do that in the future, no one knows for sure.

But as also mentioned above, you can always opt to not get a Band and get a regular card instead.

They are sealed and waterproof to any depth of water you'd encounter in pools and water parks.
