Tickets are non-transferable.I was wondering the same thing. Brother went at beginning of May and another just went last week. My brother NEVER had his finger scanned but my other friend did. Which begs the question...my brother wanted to give me his other 2 days left on his hopper ticket, which is good until Dec. is this possible for us to use, since he was never fingerprinted?
Tickets are non-transferable.
Not sure what kind of "hopper" ticket would only be good until Dec... Tickets either expire within 14 days of first use or have the no expire option in which case they're good forever.
Technically the tickets are non transferable. If they did sign the back the CM at the gate could ask for ID and if the names don't match then it will be a no go. Granted the probability of this is low but it can and does happen. If you try and use them you will want to be prepared to have to buy tickets if you are questioned on it.He took advantage of the military promotion this year. He received a free 5 day, park hopper ticket and then bought 4 other 5 day w/park hopper tickets offered to him at a discount. His family used 3 out of 5 days. He called the disney ticket office and they said that he has until Dec 09 to come back and use his other 2 days. Good on all tickets bought. I also read that somewhere. They activated his tickets at the counter, only had to sign the back. NO finger scans were EVER taken and no one was ever asked for them during the 3 days. He just went earlier this month. Said all anyone had to do was slide the card through and walk in. No one asked for ID or prints, including other guests who were in front of him. I am wondering if the scans were off that day or broken. Also wondering if the cards are already activated and he went back, or tranferred them to someone else, if they would then ask for a finger scan? I know you are not supposed to be able to give them to someone else, but he was wondering if we could use his left over days.
They sometimes offer Florida resident only multi-day tickets ("Play 3 Days" or "Play 4 Days") and those have a six-month expiration on them instead of the normal 14 days. Not saying this specific case was that, but there are tickets which are slightly outside of the "normal" rules available. Not sure what kind of "hopper" ticket would only be good until Dec...
