No hire status?

I worked for Disney in the entertainment department for just over 2 years, in May of 2014 I requested to go seasonal so that I could go on tour with a drum corps for 3 months over the summer. While I was on tour, it came time to update my seasonal availability. Because I was living out of a bus, with very little free time to figure things out, all I had for internet access was my phone. Unfortunately, I was unable to log on to the Hub to update my availability (It told me I didn't have access). I tried to have my parents back home change it from a desktop computer, but it locked them out because I had already been trying to get onto the Hub. The only other option the Hub gave me in trouble shooting this was to go in to a Disney location and change my availability from an onsite computer. Unfortunately that was not an option because I was in a different state. Thus, I was unable to update my availability and got a letter saying I was being terminated. Recently, I tried applying for an internship with the living seas and I got an email back saying that I was on a no hire list. Is there any way to appeal the no hire status? What is the process like?

This is a question best directed to Disney. Call your previous supervisor, or the HR dept, and see if you can get it sorted out from there. Good luck.

Yes, you can appeal a no-rehire decision. You will need to contact the VP of human resources.

Don't expect it to be overturned. Once you're on that list? You're on that list.

You have to apply for a job at WDW in order to appeal

Did they use the words "no hire" or "restricted"?
I've applied to have a restricted status lifted (problem is I don't know why I have it) and while it hasn't been lifted yet they did give me an application to appeal it so to speak which basically required me to show stable employment history and answer a question about the circumstances of my termination. Problem being I was never terminated, I completed a college program so I was at a loss for what they wanted to hear.
