So, it has been a pretty exciting last 2 days for Uni. With Reign of Kong being officially announced for Summer 2016 and the news today of Universal getting the Nintendo rights, oh boy. Disney better hop on their pony before universal catches and starts to do laps around them.

Anyways, now we can expect some of our favorite video game characters to have rides, but there are some big questions... Who? When? Where? specifically come to mind, so let's try to answer that.

What characters would you guys like to see come to Uni in some capacity? Or who DuPont you think will show up? When would this expansion open? After the supposed F&F ride, TMNT coaster, Avengers E ticket, or is this fast tracked? And most importantly, where does this go? Does this replace Toon Lagoon, which could desperately use a retheme? Or is it potentially a replacement for Marvel if disney actually did buy back the right? What about kidzone, could this be what happens instead of the TMNT/Smurfs/Spongebob land? Or is this the premise for a 3rd park, or at least a part of it?

I'm interested to see what you guys say, and I will give my $.02 later on.

I hope its for the third gate together with dreamworks, nickelodeon, monsters etc. For ideas maybe something like a star fox shooter, a test track mario kart ride, kirby dark ride, donkey kong free fall or luigis mansion( similar to monsters inc hide and go seek from tokyo)

Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing Characters

I think the spotlight will be for Super Mario Bros Franchise (And Spinoffs), then Pokémon, and maybe Legend of Zelda.

After F&F for sure. There's going to be a TMNT coaster?

I would think in Phases. Phase 1 would likely be Pokémon + Mario going into Kidzone. Phase 2 gets rid of Toon Lagoon with Legend of Zelda. Then a possible Phase 3 at one of these 2 locations: Marvel Superhero Island (Metroid, F-Zero, Star Fox, Pikmin) or a new 3rd park.

My last bet will be Lost Continent losing it's Sinbad and Area Half and be replace with either Fire Emblem or Kid Icarus. Or perhaps the whole area is lost to them.

If pokemon is going to be used, they really should make this as magical as possible. Everyone who loves the franchise wants to become a pokemaster with their own pokemons. Something really cool should make this possible.

I personally love ice climbers so what about a bobsleigh like ride or a trackless sleigh ride.

Pokemon is definitely a franchise that jumps to my mind for creating something that plays to generations of different fans (those who grew up in the 90s with the show, and kids who like it now) I've always pictured a Star Fox simulator where each of the pods has a different character piloting it, including one "rogue" ship piloted by a member of Star Wolf.

F-Zero would be a perfect launched coaster. Think something along these lines but with a full roller coaster track after the giant first hill.

Zelda is obvious. Luigi's Mansion could be a really fun franchise to give the E Ticket dark ride treatment to. I could picture it done in a Pooh's Honey Hunt trackless style.

Metroid definitely has some cool environments and creatures. As others have mentioned Kid Icarus would work well in the Lost Continent area. Mario has always been a tricky thing to adapt into a theme park setting for me unless you did something along the lines of recreating Mario Kart tracks for a massive go kart attraction (which I actually think would be incredibly cool...)

Not sure if Castlevania is still owned by Nintendo, but that could either make for a cool dark ride or maybe even better could be used as an amazing Halloween Horror Nights maze.

Found this on the internet but....

"Tale of the Wind Waker", a water-ride based on Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. Sailing through the Great Sea, encountering islands and monsters. With vehicles like Escape from Gringotts but on water! The boat enters a giant 360 screen dome, where it simulates the boat sailing through the seas. Once the boat gets close to an island, real life sets appear, with animatronic monsters, Link or even Ganondorf.

Castlevania was never owned by Nintendo, but by Konami. Komani is the creators of Castlevania.

I own a good number of Castlevania games. While the Castlevania Franchise had many games on Nintendo consoles, that Franchise had games released on Sega, NEC, Sony, and Microsoft consoles.

We could just send Uni Creative our pokemon land from the sole imagineer and adapt it into toon lagoon! :p

I really would hate to see a retheme of an area. Either make a new area or move it to the third gate. They need more and not less. Also games dont fit in with the theme of literature in IoA. I like toon lagoon and superhero island and i would hate so it go.

Well Kid Icarus could fit in the Greece section of Lost Continent since the Kid Icarus series is based off Greek Mythology.
