Nintendo DS trial

A few months ago there was a hot topic about using the Nintendo DS systems in the park for virtual maps, showtimes, wait-times etc, but I haven't seen or heard anything since. Anybody know what the status is? My daughter got one for Xmas and wants to take hers to the park if this is up and running.

DH is actually interested in this as well. He's like a big kid and takes his "ds" when we travel anywhere. So when this was mentioned he got very excited and then it seemed like nothing happened with it. If anyone has info please let us know.

Ah Yes Disney's Magic Connection..I'm hoping by mid summer something will happen with this...This seems much better for me since I go alone and I do hope they incorporate it with the entire resort just like Pal Mickey...Even if it's a WDW Exclusive Game cartridge I'd have no problem getting one..
