Nine Dragons or Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki?

Teppanyaki!! I ate at both on our last trip and wasn't that impressed with what I got or the service at Nine Dragons.

I love Japanese food. However, if you have a Japanese steak house near where you live, it's pretty much the same.:D

We would like to go to one of these for dinner. We are on the dining plan, so cost doesn't matter. If you have had both, which is better? Or if you have any other comments about either, please advise!!
mitsukoshi teppanyaki hands down. Best meal I had on my entire senior trip.

I sat at the bar where they make the sushi. If I knew what it were like to actually be in Japan, I'm guessing that being there was pretty close. I've never been in the dining room, but my food was awesome. I had the Take and some sushi, and for a drink I had the Ichigo.

We were very disappointed with Teppanyaki. Absolutely nothing special about it - if you have a Japanese restaurant at home, you will find a replica of it in Epcot, only unbelievably expensive.

Nine Dragons gets a visit from our family at least twice every trip. The kids love it - the kid chopsticks are great - and we love the iced green tea. The meals are great. We can't eat at the China Buffet down the street anymore. You get spoiled with Nine Dragons. The service is also excellent. I don't know why it has a bad rep, because we've never had a bad meal there.

Now the Chinese counter service is a different story - yuck!!!

Hmmm, I actually like the Chinese counter service! I eat there several times each trip, I know its not authentic Chinese cuisine but I find it to be very tasty and enjoyable. Plus the CM's at the counter are extremely friendly and I end up spending half my time chatting with a CM there :D

We like Nine Dragons, but the quality of the food is exactly half way inbetween the China Buffett at home and a REAL Chinese restaurant!! haha

But still probably better than the Chinese restaurant in your town.
