Thanks! Happy to postThanks for posting your report, Katherine...it was great! Fabulous job on the PR!!
Yeah the X is nice. I like it a lot.Congratulations on the new brand new PR and thank for sharing your take on the race/festivities. I love the necklace with the X this year.
I've been working on getting my time down a lot this year. Hoping to BQ in a few years Still have a ways to go.Thanks for posting! I think I might try for the half lottery next fall, I don't think I have it in me to train for another full marathon right now, of course I could change my mind by next spring. The firemen with the Tiffany necklaces sounds like a nice way to finish!
Oh and Congrats on your PR...I wish I could run a marathon that quickly!
Yeah I was wondering about that. It was VERY loud in Union square and I felt really bad for anyone living within 4 blocks. It was a bit crazy. Also, it was one of the "chattiest" races I've been in. When it was crowded during the first half there was so much chatter since people were running with friends. It was more than I've heard in past races. Very interesting.Congrats! One of my cousins was there for her first marathon. She had a blast. But apparently you were all disturbing the locals before the start. There were complaint calls that ended up going to a wrong number.

Bahahahaha!!! Wow, that's... a fun surprise. As far as I'm concerned, if you are fortunate enough to LIVE near Union Square you have absolutely nothing to complain about. But when they called to complain they got an, um, adult phone service.
