Nightmare DVD?

Did a special edition DVD of The Nightmare Before Christmas come out in October? I had heard somewhere that it was comming, but I never heard much else about it. Anyone know if it is out and what is all on the DVD? thanks!

Yes it must of cus wen i went to Disney World in 2001 i looked in a shop in MGM and made a huge fuss over wanting this great DVD! i didn't get it but its over here now so hopefully i'll get it soon.

According to www.dvdworld.co.uk there isn't such a title available on region 2 at the moment.
www.britannia-music.co.uk lists both dvd and video but doesn't state when it was released - presumably the original release.

The only special edition DVD of Nightmare Before Christmas that I know of is a single-disc SE:

I think the price has dropped which is nice. It's a neat DVD, though, of an obviously great film.

Im sure ive seen it in the shops over here.

the DVD with the yellow titling over the top saying "special edition"

I only thought the special edition had one disk anyway... oh well i'll just wait a little longer and just enjoy my four disk set of the lord of the rings. Very good! highly reccormended
