Have you seen Nightmare in 3D?

Sweeney Todd was great. I love when Depp and Burton team up.

Burton is doing a Frankenweenie remake for Disney, Alice in Wonderland also for Disney. Rumor is that he and Depp are teaming up for a Dark Shadows film.

Should be interesting.

I love Nightmare and most of Tim Burton's films! It is strange, because I do not like Johnny Depp but Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Sleepy Hollow are among my favorite Burton fims.

Depp was excellent in Ed Wood. That is one of Burton's best films hands down. SHot in beautiful black and white, the relationship Wood shared with Bela Logusi had a nice similarity of what Burton had with Vincent Price before he passed away. Rick Baker's make up on Martin Landu was brilliant, and Landu as Logusi was just amazing. I highly reommend this film, especially if you are a fan of the movie Plan 9 from Outer Space.

I'm not so much a fan, but my 13 year old DD is a huge fan. Last year she had a Nightmare Before Christmas themed b-d party (in September!). She was dressed as Sally. We drove 70 miles to get to a theater that was showing the 3-d movie last year. Skipped church in order to do it!:goodnevilWe went with her best friend who is just as big a fan and her mom. We listened to the sound track all the way. I did enjoy the movie as well as Corpse Bride. I also think Tim Burton did a good job with the Batman movie he directed.

Yeah, Batman directed 2 Batman movies, Batman and Batman Returns. Great films. Corpse Bride was great, the animation was beautiful.

I just read today that Burton is getting a star on the Walk of Fame in Ca. I'm happy to hear that.

So I'm kind of obsessed with Tim Burton. I pretty much know everything there is to know about him. :). I love allllll of his movies. I'm really excited about the Alice in Wonderland movie. It a perfect type of film for him to direct and I know he'll do a great job of keeping with the classic but also adding his own Burton flair. :D

If you haven't already, I recommend reading Burton on Burton. It's one of the best bios out there on him and he co-wrote it, it covers his career from his animation days up to the present and they always release new editions every couple of years to add his newest films to the book.

I first saw Nightmare Before Christmas a few years back, and have been hooked on Burton's work ever since. Aside from his style, I'm obsessed with the music he has in his films (Danny Elfman!!!)

Does anyone know when Tim Burton's Alice comes out?
