Nightlife?

Hey! So me and my roommate just booked a trip to wdw (yay!!!!:sohappy: 75 more days) but I was wondering what kind of nightlife there was. We are 19 and 20 so are we still allowed in the "adult lounges"? She found the lounge at CSR and wasintrigued by the description of music and dancing, is it any good? Is the Atlantic Dance Hall better for dancing? Or is Jellyrolls a dance place (I was under the impression it was more a piano/music lounge but not so much dancing)? Just wondering. Thanks!

I was having a good morning until I saw the photo of the Kitchen Sink... we've had two attempts at it (once with 4 people and once with 5) and have come away wanting to die after each try.

Karaoke at the Swan is great... it's in an awesome sushi bar called Kimonos. I was considering getting up there, but it was really intimidating as EVERYONE who went up there was terrific and made me not want to be the one clown performing that evening.

We had no problem with the kitchen sink either time we had it. The first time we had 6 adults and 2 small kids and the second time we had 7 adults and 2 teens. Next week :sohappy: my friends and I are getting it hopefully the 4 of us can do it or can get some other friends to meet us there for help.

The first time we got it my friend who doesn't like chocolate was with us and we told our waitress and she was nice enough to mark the area she left without chocolate with a straw.

Thanks for all the tips. I'm SUPER excited for the kitchen sink... there is only two of us so it might be a bit daunting, it might be an entire nights activity. haha. It will be a great time either way just looking for some more low-key things. I'm already planning on resort hopping (mainly for the Christmas decor) so I'm sure we'll run across some stuff. Thanks for all the info!

Kingstefan.. Thanks for the tip I'll definitely try that!

You're welcome! And another thing I just thought of, MVMCP will be running many nights you will be there. On those nights, busses will be running until at least 1 AM or so, so if you call it a night before about midnight, you should be able to go from one resort to the MK and then to the other resort. So late night resort hopping should be practical on those nights.

On other nights if MK is open to 11, you have to quit a bit earlier or take a cab. When the MK closes at 8, though (Mon and Wed the first three weeks of Dec), it would be less practical.

Have fun - I'm so excited for you!

Doesn't like chocolate?! And you're willing to travel with this clearly insane person? :p

Back in the day you would have been able to get in Motions which was a club in PI for 18+, however that info is pointless now. In DTD I'm sure you could find entertainment within one of the restaurants such as the House of Blues or Bongos, just head in a go to dinner and see what live "free" show they have. Usually it is a Blues band at HOB or a Mariachi/steel drum group at Bongos you may want to call ahead to find out. As for the Boardwalk I can't imagine not finding something to do with Karaoke at Kimonos (Swan) the Arcades, Midway games, and Fantasia Gardens (Swan). Beaches and Cream for ice cream, Coffee from Boardwalk bakery and lets not forget all the shopping in both locations. RIX Lounge located at the Coronado and Atlantic Dance Hall are 21+ but they may have a underage night for danceing, I would check first. Have Fun:)

Thanks Bug... that's disappointing we don't have a car so that's not an option really. Stupid drinking age... we just want to dance and have a good time. Is there anywhere on property anymore that's 18 and older that has nightlife other than shopping at DTD?

Start saving and come to the UK.;)
Trouble is by the time you have enough money you will be way past the 21 mark.
