Nickelodean Suites

Last year, we left Mattoon, IL around 4 PM and drove to Clarksville, TN then stopped for the night. Next day we drove all the way to Gainsville, FL, stopped for the night, then Monday morning, just had 2 or 3 hours left to drive to WDW. This year, we're hoping that the in-laws will be willing to watch our daughter again like they did last year when we went, since she's not quite 2 years old yet and we deem her to be to little to bring. And if they do watch her, I'm REALLY hoping that they will be willing to have her earlier than 4 PM like, say, noon or 1 PM. If this is the case, then I'm kind of hoping that we'll make it to Orlando Sunday night, and our check in date at WDW is Monday April 4. If this happens and we get there Sunday evening, I thought my son may enjoy a night at the Nickelodean Suites, since he loves Spongebob.

Anyone familiar enough with Nickelodean Suites to know if it's a place where I can just pull in late and night and get a room, or do I have to have a reservation?

In April? I think you'd be better off trying to make a reservation first. Just to be on the safe side......
