NHL- Favorite Team and pick to win the Stanley Cup

I'm just baffled that the Canucks swept by the Sharks. I think I underestimated them. I mean, I knew they had plenty of talent with Marleau, Thornton, Couture and Pavelski but I didn't think it would be enough. Boy, was I wrong. There goes my pick for the Stanley Cup and....probably Alain Vigneault's (Canucks head coach) job, too.

Blackhawks win it. Some series! Still waiting for my Rangers to get back to the finals. With this team I really think we have a good chance.

I got a couple of hours of sleep, but I'm still just flying high right now. Those last couple of minutes were insane...I mean 2 goals in 17 seconds!?!?!?! Monster play by Kane to Tazer to set up Bick's goal and the Rat being in the right place to pop home the winner. Crawford should have won the Conn Smythe. He was amazing throughout(except for that 5 goal game), but the national press who just saw the last 2 rounds voted for Kane.

I'm amazed at hearing the injury reports and who played with what injuries(partial list so far):
Ruptured disk in his back for Hossa, could not feel one of his feet.
Sprained Knee for Bickell
Torn MCL (Knee) and Broken wrist for Handzus.
Concussion (from Saturday) for Toews
Andrew Shaw, Torn Labrum
Bergeron had the rib, cartilage and the shoulder in game 6.
Horton a separated shoulder in game 6.

These Hockey Players are true Warriors in sports. AMAZING!!!

Damn, Hockey players really are the toughest athletes. How they play through all of this I will never understand. Props to them

Well, Congrats to the Blackhawks. 2nd Cup in 4 years and only the second #1 seed to win the Cup since the '05 lockout! Hockey is truly an underrated sport that some ignorant people think it's soccer with sticks. Not at all! It's fast, entertaining and enjoyable to me. Plus hockey has the best playoffs of any sport I can imagine. Nothing's better than seeing your team score the OT winner in the playoffs and nothing's more crushing than to give up a late goal or the OT winner to the opposition in a big playoff game.

How about it! I have never seen anything like that in any sport. You go from, Oh man we need a game 7 to, well I hope we can pull it out in OT to, Oh my god we won this thing! All in the span of a minute. It was a special moment.
