NFL/SBC Music loops

There's a lot of "Human Again", the song from the musical that got put into the DVD release, around Be Our Guest. They also found some Dumbo music that didn't make the final cut of the movie, and had it redone for background music.

Here's a list of all the new BGM that I know of, nearly all of the music was specially recorded for NFL/SBC.

Beauty and the Beast

Enchanted Tales with Belle
  • Queue - Arranged for a small ensemble, includes songs from the movie, but also songs from the B'way show like Human Again, If I Can't Love Her, and A Change in Me. There's also some of the incidental music for when Maurice heads to the fair.
  • Maurice's Workshop - A music box plays Human Again while guests wait to travel through the Mirror to the Castle.
Be Our Guest Restaurant (BoG)
  • Ballroom - Full orchestral renditions of the film and show's most iconic melodies.
  • West Wing - Foreboding arrangement for a harpsichord and flute. The music in here isn't usually a full song, but more like a theme from a song played rather mournfully.
  • The Rose Gallery - Most of the familiar tunes are included and arranged to sound like it's coming from the Music Box in the center of the room.
Belle's Village
  • Gaston's Tavern & Village Square - Arranged for small ensemble much like Enchanted Tales, but this one uses accordions and fiddles, and has a far more rowdy sound to the arrangement. Human again seems to have been a favorite of the composer arranging the BGM, but there are also more Gaston centered pieces included here. The song Gaston is understandably featured, as well as songs from the B'way show like Maison de Lune, and Me. One song that I have not heard anywhere is Kill the Beast.
  • Bonjour! Village Gifts - This has a music box sound to it, so it might also be the music from the Rose Gallery in BoG.
The Little Mermaid

Journey of the Little Mermaid
  • Outside Queue - Sea shanties, as well as songs and incidental music from the movie played in the same style. An audio reference to 20,000 Leagues is the inclusion of Whale of a Tale in the music loop.
  • Indoor Queue - Full orchestral arrangements of favorite songs from the movie.
Ariel's Grotto
  • Most of the songs from the film are included her, except Poor Unfortunate Souls, and are arranged here for cello and flute. My favorite is Les Poissons, the song sung by the chef about cooking fish.
Storybook Circus
  • Dumbo the Flying Elephant - Jazzy arrangements of standard circus music as well as songs and melodies from the film like When I See an Elephant Fly.
  • Dumbo Tent Queue, Big Top Souvenirs, Inside Pete's Silly Sideshow - I might be wrong but I think these all share the same arrangements of melodies like the Blue Danube and the Cancan, as well as other tunes played by a circus organ.
  • Carolwood Park Station and Casey Jr. Area - Rustic arrangements of songs that feature a railroad theme. Wabash Cannonball, Casey Jr., Chattanooga Choo Choo, are all featured here. The song Little Toot used to be in the old Toontown BGM and is also included here, although the song is actually about a tugboat and not a train.
I believe that Winnie-the-Pooh also got new music when it received its new queue a couple of years ago. I wouldn't be surprised if the Rapunzel bathrooms and surrounding area also got its own BGM too.

I just want to mention how insanely awesome the HUGE new amount of BGM is. And I would love to get ahold of it. All the Beauty and the Beast Background Music is BEAUTIFUL! It really sets the tone and is beautifully arranged. Credit where Credit is due here, and Credit really is due. I hope the Rapunzel mini-area is just as well done...

Wow....when I read the title of this thread, I was thinking someone was actually talking about NFL music and mis-typed ABC, and put SBC (the phone company) instead. I've been using FLE for so long, I'm going to have to re-learn NFL if that's the new "forum standard".

I thought I heard a lot of fake animal noises in the background too... Maybe I imagined it?

There are a lot of chirping bird sounds in the BatB forest area. They were quite potent at night when the park was empty and other area music had stopped. Nice touch though.

Haha, I noticed the bird song too when I walked around there at 11pm last week ... but as a birder I found it very strange as birds don't sing at night like that. Some lone birds do, like mockingbirds and owls, but not like at the BatB area.

It would be nice if, when it's dark, they change the chirping birds with proper night sounds, like crickets and the occasional owl or nighthawk.

That would be a clever touch.
