I was quite pleased nobody picked my Jets. Now we can swoop in and win it all.

Stop laughing.
I mean it - stop laughing - it could happen!!!
The AFC is very talented this year. I think the Chiefs have an extremely easy schedule. Maybe one loss, but nothing more. And I think the Steelers are the most dangerous team in the AFC right now. If they make the playoffs, watch out. The Roethlisberger injuries have really hurt them in terms of seeding and division hopes this year.

I need to score a lot of points this week to get to the championship in my fantasy league. I'm dropping Thomas Rawls for Tim Hightower. But I need a good flex option for this week. I'm dropping Charcandrick West for either Tyler Lockett, Tedd Ginn, or Michael Floyd. Who should I go with?

PS- My flex would be either Martavis Bryant (playing DEN), Mike Evans, Tim Hightower, or Lockett/Ginn/Floyd.

My updates:

AFC:
1. Patriots (14-2)
2. Broncos (12-4)
3. Bengals (12-4) - I think they have a shot at both the 49ers and Ravens the rest of the way, so I gave them wins there. As long as they win on of those, they'll get the 3rd seed.
4. Texans (8-8)
5. Chiefs (11-5)
6. Steelers (11-5)

NFC:
1. Panthers (15-1) - I, too, say they lose to the Giants.
2. Cardinals (14-2)
3. Packers (11-5)
4. Giants (8-8)
5. Seahawks (11-5)
6. Vikings (10-6)

don't see Cincy w/o Dalton doing much winning the rest of the way... though they close out at home vs Balt w/ their own QB problems - they take that and they get it w/ tiebreakers.

I gave them the win against SF because it doesn't factor into the playoff seeding. If they lose it, they still get the 3rd seed.

I need Ben Watson to get 13 points tonight to move onto the championship in fantasy. Not likely, but it takes 70 yards and a TD. That would tie me with my opponent, and the tiebreaker is seeding, and I have that advantage. Holding onto that slim hope.

Charles Woodson has said he will retire after this season. Sad to see, as he's been such an awesome player. Even as a Raider I've rooted for him. Class act.

Looks like I'm done. Watson has been targeted once with zero catches. And I could have made it to the championship if I would've played Roethlisberger against Denver's defense, or if I would have played Mike Evans as my flex over Michael Floyd. But I probably would have avoided this all together if Thomas Rawls and Tyler Eifert hadn't gotten hurt last week. Heck, Rawls alone probably would have gotten me 13 more points in that game. :banghead:

Watson has had two passes in the end zone tonight. One was underthrown by Brees, and the other one was a tough catch, but it was possible. Had he caught those two passes, I'd have a win right now. :banghead:

Three points short. 177-174. A couple of dropped Watson passes away. Or one different player away.

Updated predictions

AFC
1. NE 2. DEN 3. CIN 4. HOU 5. KC 6. PIT
NFC
1. CAR 2. ARI 3. GB 4. PHI 5. SEA 6. MIN

What's interesting is that if week 16 goes as I think it will, there won't be a true Winner Take All (meaning the winner goes to the playoffs and the loser goes home) game to flex into Sunday night. So that would leave them with two choices

1. MIN at GB. Winner takes the division, loser still makes the playoffs. If the game goes to 'chalk', then the very next week in the playoffs will be MIN at GB.
2. TB at CAR. Nothing at stake except 16-0. And scheduling this game there's the risk of Rivera channeling his inner Tony Dungy and playing his scrubs against a team that would like to get to 8-8.

Could the Raiders be playing last game in Oakland? Or Chargers in San Diego?!
My guess would be yes to both. Seems like two teams will share a stadium in Los Angeles, but the Rams (the third team in question) seem to have the best opportunity to stay in their current location.
