Arian Foster is out for the rest of the season with a torn Achilles. So many injury problems for such a talented RB.

I deleted the fantasy football app from my phone today out of frustration.
The only negative for my league has been everything is pretty much staying how it was last week, with the exception of on of the 4-2 teams likely losing, falling to 4-3 with me.

One of my friends has 157 points. And it's the worst possible person for that because he's a bragger. Actually not a bragger really, but he just always talks about positive things he's accomplished, even meaningless stuff like fantasy... especially meaningless things like fantasy.

His lineup...

Andre Luck - 32
Lamar Miller - 42
Devonta Freeman - 19
Calvin Johnson - 14
Brandon Marshall - 9
Jason Witten - 7 (so far)
Amari Cooper - 24
Matt Bryant - 3
Falcons D/ST - 10

And the Cowboys keep figuring out ways to lose! Ugh

And the Giants found another way to win! The offense didn't do squat. Orleans Darkwa had his moments on that one drive. But other than that, they didn't play to their potential. Tonight, it was the defense who did give up a ton of yards to my ire but they're like the Saints when they won their first Super Bowl in sense they're an opportunistic defense. Three picks against Cassell with one being a pick six. And Dwayne Harris, a player who I was waiting and seeing if he was worth the money, finally proved it to me he can make a difference on the special teams. Winning games ugly seem to be the recurring theme for this team. The last season the Giants won the Super Bowl, I can't recall a single game that was total domination on all aspects of the game or a 40+ blowout win that year.

Do I have enough waiver attempts set up for tonight?

Edit: I just noticed Yahoo Fantasy banner ads all have my team name mentioned. That should lead to some interesting screenshots considering some names people have for their teams.

My attempt is dropping Jordan Matthews for Chris Johnson... because only two or three people in my league actually use the waivers. The rest just try to add someone Saturday from free agency. I'm also hoping my opponent drops the Panthers D so I can switch the Bills D that's on a bye.

I planned to wait until FA to grab defenses and kickers, but my league grabs everyone worth taking when they are still on waivers. Has made streaming defenses really hard this year. I'm hoping that if I get GB I can just keep them now that they past their bye week.

There's no defense worth keeping long term on waivers right now. Several people have two on their rosters since byes have happened. I'm assuming the Panthers defense to be dropped because they used the Panthers to fill the void of the Broncos D on their bye. If nobody drops a defense, I'll probably pick up the Titans just for the matchup. Although like I said, most in my league look at their rosters on Wednesday and Saturday only, so it makes it hard to plan ahead when players aren't dropped until Saturday afternoon.

But I'm shallow at RB. I have three, good ones nonetheless, but if one gets injured it wouldn't be good. That's why I'm going for Chris Johnson. Plus, Jordan Matthews has been annoying me since week 2.

I also nearly dropped Mike Evans for John Brown last week, but decided to give him one more week to prove himself. Hopefully he becomes the receiver I drafted him to be!

Finally a Kicker and TE pull through for me and I managed to pull ahead in my league to an impressive 6-1

But I'm facing a ton of byes again... so back on the hunt for a RB

I don't draft or keep more than 1 DEF or K. They are all droppable unless proven otherwise. I'd rather save that bench space for RBs and WRs. The only kicker you don't drop on their bye is Patriots guy whose name I won't attempt to spell on my phone.

My RB lineup is literally the bottom of the barrel. I only have WRs to trade and no one wants them. The only thing that moves in trades this year are RBs.

I only drafted one D/ST and one kicker, too. The Bills haven't been as good as expected, and I was going to drop them for Carolina last week, but decided to stick it out for one more week because of their bye. My kicker is averaging over 10 points per game, and is the 2nd highest scoring K this season. That being said, I'll probably drop him for his week 9 bye unless one of my players gets injured.

I'm very happy with my roster. I've had some untimely injuries and fluke matchups with my opponents which had me lose 3 straight games, but realistically I should be 6-1 or 5-2 at worst. My roster is probably the best overall in our league. That also comes on the heels of league members who don't know how to do fantasy. Otherwise I wouldn't have Travis Kelce or Marshawn Lynch. I had never been in a fantasy league before this year, and I feel like I already know how to work the system better than those who have been in leagues for several years. But my drafting also got me some good value picks, specifically Doug Martin in the later rounds.

So you'll be ready for a 12 man WDWMagic league next season then! :D

I got Chris Johnson, much to the dislike of my friend who tried to get him as well. This is the same friend that wanted Martavis Bryant last week, but I got him first.

On sadder news, nobody has dropped a defense yet. Looks like I'll be adding the Titans for the time being, hoping a better defense drops later in the week.
