Next Gen Donald, Goof, and Mickey at Marathon?!

I didn't see anyone report from Marathon Weekend:

At the start of the Half, Donald, Mickey, and Goofy were all there talking, blinking, and moving their lips. It was incredible. I was up front of Corral A and didn't have any pictures, but it was so neat to hear Goofy and Donald, along with Mickey.

That was the articulated heads from Dream Along With Mickey castle show.

Great that they used them for the Marathon start!

I was impressed by that, I can only imagine how cool the new stuff is.

Mickey sure seemed like he was, I had seen the youtube videos of the testing. And Donald and Goofy were just as impressive. Pretty cool nonetheless.

So, are the animated faced characters going to be what's out in the parks for Meet and Greets, or is it too soon to know that?

To be fair, from far away they look great, but I'm not sure I could see Mickey moving his mouth as he's hugging me. It might be scary.
