Next Disney/Pixar Attraction @ WDW

My question is really simple. Which Disney/Pixar picture would you most like to see become an attraction at WDW?

Personally, I think Disney could easily copy the new A Bug's Land (Flik's Fun Fair) from Disney's California Adventure and place it inside Animal Kingdom. AK would greatly benefit from a few more rides, and with the addition of Flik's Fun Fair, the Bug's Life gang would add something that seems to be missing at AK. Thrills for the little ones in the group.

If you don't like the A Bug's Land concept, remember Chester and Hester's Dino-Rama, which on paper looks like the worst concept ever designed for a Disney park, but after visiting the new area, at least myself personally, you find yourself having a good time. Especially on Primival Whirl, all I could do is laugh the whole time. I think A Bug's Land would add a little more of a good time for the whole family.

Besides, with Disney's new trend of putting one park's unique attraction in another park, I look for Flik's Fun Fair to pop up on the WDW radar sooner rather than later, but that's just my opinion.

Hello,

Well, the only obstacle I see in the way of having Flik's Fun Fair at AK is the fact that It's Tough to be a Bug already seems a well representation of A Bug's Life. So if they could find a spot to put it near the tree of life it may work.

Definatly Monster's Inc. Great potential for a attraction! I could see it in New York street with the factory half ride building the other parts made of the cardboard the citys made of.

Last time I check, bugs aren't animals.

BUT that doesn't mean they should be left out. I personally think that if FFF comes to WDW, that would be the place for it. However, I'd re-theme it, because, as stated above, It's Tough to be a Bug is already there, and it wasn't the highest-grossing Pixar film, either. Besides, Monsters Inc. would make for a more interesting addition.

What I'm holding out on is Little Nemo, which looks interesting to say the least.

I never thought about incorporating Flik's Fun Fair into AK, but it seems like a perfect match (bugs are animals, BTW)

It could easily go into AK and MGM, and maybe even Epcot.

Epcot: If they expand the discovery theme a bit and add something to it (maybe a show, or another ride, or a bug museum, ...), then it would be a perfect addition to Future World. It could fit between The Land and JII, which would mesh the themes together. This would add some new attrations to Epcot, and it would give the kids something of their own to do. It would also fit the whole discovery and exploration theme perfectly.

MGM: If there was enough room, this could replace the HITSK area. However, there isn't enough room in that area to do this. It could be located in one of several areas:
Animation Circle - It could be placed in the parking lot behind Animation Tour area, and the building which houses the queue for the Animation Tour could be a generically themed gateway to the Animation Tour and Flik's Fun Fair. The addition of FFF would bring guests to this quiet area of the park.

Mickey Avenue - An alternate location for this could be somewhere along Mickey Avenue. Yes this would mean sacrificing the Walt show, Millionaire, and the latest Behind the Scenes shows, but FFF could be enclosed in one big building. It would be open rain or shine, and it opens the door for some cool effects. They could simulate sunrise, sunset, and weather all within an hour or two. Imagine being a bug when a fake storm hits. Since this is already in a building, it would make the addition of a dark ride much easier because a building wouldn't have to be constructed.

New York Street - Yet another location could be near Muppet3D. If the entrance is built near the Toy Story photo area, then FFF could extend into the main guest parking lot. There is plenty of room to work with here, although the guest parking lot would have to be expanded to accomodate the loss of spots.

Across the Main Access Road - There has always been talk of building new things on the other side of the main MGM entrance road (from World Drive). A large sidewalk-boulevard could be built across the road right over the parking toll gates. From there, anything is possible.

Animal Kingdom: Believe it or not, there are several options for FFF here.

Camp Minnie Mickey - It could be located near Camp Minnie Mickey, at the kid's area of the park. For example, right after the bridge to Camp MM, FFF could immediately jet off to the left, while Camp MM continues on straight ahead. This way, FFF is near the other kids attractions, and it won't clash with the existing theme too much.

Conservation Station - Yes, it would be inconvenient to get to because of the train. However, it would give people another reason to visit this section. It could either be an offshoot from the main walkway path, it could run parallel to it, or it could just replace the walkway completely.

Oasis - FFF could run parallel to the Oasis, or as an offshoot of it. It could fit on the Camp MM side of the Oasis, and it wouldn't clash too much if it's hidden well.

Africa / Asia - It might be able to fit as an offshoot from the walkway that runs from Africa to Asia. I'm ot sure how much room is between this walkway and the railroad that sits in the forest behind it.

As its own land - There is a CM bridge which runs from Discovery Island to a CM area. They could open this area and place FFF on the other side of the bridge as its own land. They could even add a 2nd gateway which would connect FFF to the far end of Camp MM (by the Lion King show)

Monsters, Inc... without question.
As soon as I saw the scene where they're jumping from door to door, it was clear a ride had to come out of all that. I would say it should go in the studios, but I''m not so sure... I mean, it would fit the theming, being that it would be derrivative of a movie and all, but I don't know if the studios needs a new e-Ticket right now. The studios already have, what, three?
It should either go inthe Studios or the Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland... bit of a stretch, I kow. That's why it's my second pick.

Like i said I don't like rollercoasters, but indeed an inverted dueling coaster where the seats your strapped to is a door, the ride should be inside a building (aka rock and roller coaster) and in it could be prop doorways moving all around you. I don't know where it would go(beastly kingdom would have been nice, since monsters are imaginary animals) but it would give disney a more potential market for the teen audiance that likes these sorts of rides. actually this hit me, why not theme a dirk ride underneath the roller coaster, call it the monsters INC.. tour, where the roller coaster would be the door room (the dark ride would go right underneath it) and the rest of the ride would be dark and a tour the company. 2 rides for the price of one, 1 building, and a thrill ride to boot, it could work.

Monsters, Inc. easily sets itself up for a roller coaster, specifically an inverted one. The theming can come so easily from the movie, not only are you suspended from the track, but you can go through the doors just as Mike and Sully from house to house and room to room. A ride like this could be a non-stop sensory overload. It would easily fit into MGM.

It's too much like Chester and Hester's to be put into AK, I think anyway... cheap "county fair" type rides.

Got to agree on Monsters Inc

When my wife and I saw the "door room" in the movie and chase scene that followed we really believed it would make a great ride. Go with the indoor hanging coster idea and the pre-show being a introduction to your first day at the factory.

I am thinking this fits into MGM really well. Other possibility is Magic Kingdom. I would stay away from AK or EPCOT.

Monsters Inc. in Beastly Kingdom

I'd like to see Beastly Kingdom (the land for imaginary animals that never existed) with a Monsters Inc. attraction. Dragons, Unicorns, Monsters, two-headed lamas, etc.

The references to big foot, loch ness, and "adorable" snowman as banished monsters in Monsters Inc would also allow for the tie in to the beastly kingdom

It's Tough to Be a Bug @ AK

I don't really think Flik's Fun Fair, would have to be close to the Tree of Life for the FFF to be a viable part of AK.

Anyway, I had never thought about have a Monsters Inc. attraction in Beastly Kingdom. What a great idea, the Abomidible Snowman would be awesome. Good call.

oh i can see it now....monster's inc. follow that door suspension steel coaster....aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh.....sounds good to me!

ok and flik's fun fair or whatever, have it replace tough to be a bug, that show scares me!

I would be shocked if a Monsters, Inc isn't already in development for a potential attraction. I think the door scene was either intentionally put in for a future attraction, or was put in by the Pixar folks for fun so they could play "let's see if Disney makes this an attraction."

Either an inverted coaster or some sort of a sim seem the most obvious. Of course, Disney imagineers rarely do what is obvious (though that seems to have changed some recently... :()
