Ok, well whatever the next park turns out to be, or whether there isn't one for a long time, I hope Disney starts to add more thrill rides to its existing parks.

most of what they have in the works are e-rides...and if you want to see how successful a thrill park is, look at either IoA or any of the few Six Flags that are open year-round. They get 6,000,000 guests a year, AT BEST. The Magic Kingdom gets about 15,000,000 a year. Think of all the complaints about Animal Kingdom not having enough to do...and they still get more than the thrill parks. Step in the shoes of a 7 year old, ticked that he can't go on Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. Well, there's still a lot of other stuff at MGM he can go on. Now he enters a park where the average height restriction is 48 inches, and he can't go on anything. That's a cranky kid=cranky parents=cranky siblings=bad time for all. You don't want a thrill park, and neither does disney. Again, they are building a lot of thrill rides...

You may have something there. In fact, among my personal favorite rides are ones hardly considered thrill rides (TTA, Peter Pan, Snow White, etc). If Disney came up with more innovative rides, or even relaxing ones such as TTA, that would be something. I think it would even be cool if the TTA was just turned into a ride that spanned the entire Magic Kingdom, with various get on/get off points.

Yeah, I think that's what everybody wants too. We don't care about thrill rides, we just want innovative rides. Rides that really show us what the disney magic is all about.

Right now, I think disney seems to be doing a fabulous job, forget about Dino-Rama for a second here folks. I think in a few years, MGM will be the best theme park in the world. It's got the two best Thrill rides in the world, great shows, a great nighttime show, and fun for the entire family.

The grown ups love the backlot tour, seeing houses from their favorite shows, and seeing their favorite movies in the GMR, kids love seeing Belle, Ariel, Quasimodo and all their favorites from Playhouse Disney, Teens Love ToT RnRC, Star Tours, and Indy. It is shaping up to be an incredible place.

Way to go WDI keep it up :sohappy:

Ok well my point is all the disney parks are great, I just think that MK would do well with one more e-ticket for us teens

I'm not really sure why i singled out MGM, I think it's just because RnRC and ToT are the two most incredible rides i've ever experienced. Of course Space Mountain and Splash Mountain are amazing, too. I dunno, I just love it all

Like I said before, a park made of roller coasters would be not only be inadequate for Disney since it's always remarking it's motto that Disney World is a land for grown-ups and kids, and since all parks include this basic idea-but also because a balance of attractions is needed in every Disney park to keep guests happy at all ages, that's why Disney fans that grow old keep coming back.
