That box set was only available at Costco stores and was limited to 10,500 pieces nationwide. You can still get them on Ebay but they are $199+.

Don't count on the series 3 to come out like that and buy them now while you can.

I stand corrected. I guess Disney decided to release their own boxed set. Last week that wasn't available on their web site. I guess they waited until 5/18 to sell it.

I got ripped on Ebay but then again, I didn't know that they were going to be out direct from Disney. What the heck, it's only $30 bucks:drevil:

Now I don't feel so bad because I got them for the same price aft S&H off of Ebay.

**If I keep trying to convince myself I didn't get ripped off it might work**

I haven't opened the individual DVD cases yet. There are not tins included. I will open them tonight to see if there are lithos.

I opened the DVDs tonight. Unfortunately, the box set does not come with lithos (unless it did and the guy who sold me the set from ebay took it(them)).

I saw the new Mickey box set at Target tonight. Was $24.99. Was tempted to get it, but I didn't. I need to track down the Goofy one actually. By the time I had the extra cash to pick up a copy last year it was nowhere to be found. :(

I watched the first two videos from the Tommorowland Show.

The 1st one had a super acurate description of the Space Shuttle and it was made in 1955.

The other one, same year was more Science Fictiony. But the process they used to get to the moon in that video is not what we ended up doing. And they saw a base of some kind on the Dark Side......

The Strings were kinda cheesy but it was good for the 50's. Did the same thing as 2001 did in the 60's and what Star Wars did in the 70's.

The animation was kinda blocky but on the first show, for the space launch bit, I really enjoyed how the characters were drawn. Full normal size with a very heavy use of shading and color.

Just an fyi the box set never came with the art work, it was only the tins that came with the lithos....so whoever you bought from at Ebay didn't take anything out of the set.
