Newbie with a few questions

Hello everyone!
My daughter and I will be heading to Ca and DL March 30th to April 8th 2016 and would love to know what the crowds and weather will be like. We have about 15 trips to WDW under our belts so unsure what to expect for the crowds and weather.
This is also a surprise trip for my 17 year old as she has always wanted to visit Ca and DL. Will be spending time in SanDiego for 2 days. Also will spend time in LA and other places while in CA. Thanks all

From what I can see on the crowd calendar mostly 6 and 7 with the first couple of days 8's. Be there for rope drop and you are golden. Even more so than WDW.

I personally would visit DL during the weekdays.

The weather in Anaheim is very different from central Florida.
Because of the dryness and the proximity to the ocean, the temperature will change dramatically over the course of the day. Expect high eighties by the late morning and for the temperature to plunge to the 50s after the sun sets. You'll probably want to bring at least a light windbreaker with you into the park and a backpack to carry it in. Depending on whether you're cold-natured you may or may not want long pants, or if you're a huge dork like me you might consider bringing convertible shorts.
Rain in April is unlikely.
