Newbie Question - Body Wars?

I am new to forums but wanted to ask a question. I have been to WDW three times in my life so I know only a little about it. In planning to take my family back there in October of this year I noticed something on the Epcot map. The map shows the building for body wars but does not label it. I have searched for info on it some but haven't found much info yet, still searching. I am guessing that it is not operating since it isn't labeled but was wondering if there was something else planned for that spot or not? Anyone have any information or links to information I may have missed in regards to that attraction? Thank you for you help.

So can you actually walk up to it though? I'm a little young for it, but I want to get close to it to see what it looks like.

Walk up to the ride or the pavilion? It doesn’t matter though because the walkway to pavilion will be blocked by planters when not in use. Even if there is a special event going on the ride will be blocked with walls.

Been closed for years. I visit the pavilion every year during F&G and this year was the first time I didn't feel any sting about missing the attractions. They've been gone that long...I have moved on, lol.

If you want to go into the pavilion itself, try visiting during Flower & Garden or Food & Wine. But you still won't be able to see any part of the ride. Sorry. :(

No more Body Wars! I think Wonders of Life closed in '07 after its seasonal run. Eeek... I don't particularly miss Body Wars though. My family and I used to call it the puke box; (I think that title now goes to Mission Space); but I do miss Cranium Command and The Making of Me. Wonders of Life was never crowded during its last years and I remember it being a pleasant escape from the crowds. Oh yes, and welcome to the forums :)

Body wars can't say I miss it too much.
I miss it for nostalgic reasons because it was the very first simulator ride I ever experienced. It, of course, led me to others like "Back to the Future" in Universal and Star Tours in DHS. 'Back' no longer exists either, but Star Tours is still going strong so if I want sorta the same ride...I go there. Star Tours is better now because besides having a new story line, it's also in 3D.

I feel sorry for the Pavillion. It's like the child that no one wants to play with because it has goofy teeth or wears glasses. They should put it to better use.
I think I rode this on our first trip so I don't really have many memories of it, but it now reminds me of Innerspace, that film from the 80's with Martin Short. Ace film!
