Newbie Disney runner question

Hey Bethram, fellow Georgian here. Congrats on your first Disney race, I hope you do well. In regards to Disney provided transportation, pick up starts at 3 am and the last bus picks up at 4 am. Here's a link that will help answer all of your questions:

Now if you're staying at Port Orleans, I believe the starting line is right across the road from the entrance to PO (it was for the races in January anyway) and if that's the case you could just walk across the street and into your corral. You might want to double check this though. Now if you're planning on checking a bag then this won't work, you'll have to use Disney transportation to go to the main areas first.

As the PP said, the guide says transport from 3-4. I have found that crowds tend to build towards the end of the time window. But it is really up to you. Disney does pad their time so that everyone should be onsite before the start, but you then hurry up and wait.

I have run a bunch of Disney races, at first I was in line real early to catch the bus. Now, I don't worry about it too much. I suggest getting in line for the bus at 3:45. I always stay at All Stars, there are a lot of runners there, and the line moves real fast, the transportation for the races is very impressive, Disney knows how to move large crowds. The wait at the starting area can be long and boring, not to mention COLD.
