I know alot of people registered on this forum are American so I thought I would open this link to say that everyone in England is shocked and that are sympathy goes out to anyone affected. I hope others feel the same way and that they can say that on this thread.

Thank You England (UK)

Thanks Jim! This is an unbelievable tragedy and we are very thankful for the British support---it means a lot to us. This can happen at any time anywhere. The flight that crashed in Pennsylvania was only about 20 miles from my home in Pennsylvania. My friend down here at law school was from New York City and her Aunt worked at the World Trade Center. Thankfully, her Aunt had called off from work yesterday. This tragedy has definitely struck home in every since of the word. We Americans will stand strong against this brute aggression just as you did so wonderfully before we got involved in WWII. We are so lucky to have such wonderful allies and friends like you! THANK YOU and GOD BLESS US ALL! :)

I also want to thank everyone around the world for standing beside the United States. I was watching CNN today and saw the names of the victims on Flight 11. I noticed a name of a woman that lived 2 miles from my home. It really opens your eyes.

Up here in Boston the local news has been cranking out a lot of helpful reports of arrests.

Rhode Island is getting active now. I see a new sense of national pride in schools and other places. In school today, saying the pledge was satsftying. People don't usually say it, including me, but we all said it today. As Americas we will prevail as we always do. The Arabics who did this were wrong by demlishing our unity but we our in unity even politicans, who sung God Bless America at the white house. At citizens of the world, we will go on leading the nations. For the our allies, you haved helped us in so many you don't understand and god bless all of us.

Last two days

Some of the heroic stories that have come out of this are inspiring, it's just a shame that it took something of this magnitude for people of this country to realize for the first time in awhile that there is nothing more important than life. Whether it's yours, someone in your family, or a stranger whom you've never met. It took this tragedy for people to do something that is from the immortal words (don't laugh) of Bill and Ted. "Be Excellent to Each Other."

Thank you for all the support!!!
We flew down from New York to Orlando last Tuesday and were one of the last planes to land. We found out about the news when we were passing by a restaraunt showing CNN live. Looking back, I realize how much this has brought people together. People from all over were supporting each other.
We're flying back to NY tonight and I'm really nervous but anxious to get home. We have alot of family that live and work in NYC, including NYPD and NYFD.

Jim...
Thanks for your support and kind sentiments.
At last count, 100 Brits are missing at the WTC, and 62 countries lost nationals there. When push comes to shove, and it will, the Brits and Yanks will be standing alone fighting this devil.
