I guess mine is to lose about 5 - 7 lbs and to excercise more. I'm want to get my rear in good shape. :D

Darrel, I know somone who had that surgery and she looks wonderful. :)
Yes I know someone who had it done to.
I`m right now in the researching phase, I want to be sure of all the facts before I rush into surgery and I want to be sure I have the right surgeon. :)

You are very smart to do that. So many people just go to whatever surgeon they find and never research it. I wish you the best of luck :)

Thank you very much! I`ll need all the luck I can get, any surgery no matter how minor is risky, so I`ll definately need that luck! :D

I don't want to confirm anything or sound like I know it all, but my mom has told me (she's a nuse) that gastric bypass is a very high risk surgery... and that there is a much higher chance of death than a normal surgery (from what I've heard). To keep it safe.. I'd just eat less and excersise (I know you've heard this) but that's what I did and I lost 50 lbs quickly and I feel much better and didnt have a high risk doing it. So IMO I wouldnt recommend it but if you want to.. hey, it's your money.

I know it`s High risk surgery that`s why I`m researching it.and diet and excercise doesn`t do it for me, one time I lost 90 pounds, but then I gained it all back and more.:( and it`s not my money, I have health insurance! :D
some insurances wont cover this procedure, but mine does. :D
Not to mention, How old are you?
I`m 36 and it is known that it is much HARDER to loose weight after your 30,cause your metabolism slows down after you turn 30.

You said you lost 90 pounds before. You should use surgery as a last resort. Atleast try to go on a diet. It worked for Oprah, and shes MUCH older than 30. I thought they wouldnt perform Gastric-Bypass on anyone who isnt like, morbidly obese, like 200 pounds overweight. Do whatever you feel is right, but I'd try Subway and the Gym first. It really DOES work.

Gastric bypass is for people who are 100 pounds or more over weight and I am over 100 pounds over weight. And Operah has a trainer that lives with her and a chef that lives with her that plans out her meals.

Darrel, you know where I stand on the whole gastric bypass thing, and why, so Im not going to bother you with it. Nope. Not one iota. Na ah. Not I. Not at all. Im not going to say DONT DO IT DARREL!! No sirree bob. I surely wont. ;)

Im just going to cut out the junk that I eat. Sweets are worst for me. So, cut out the fat, cut out the sugar, and GET OFF MY BUTT and I should loose SOMETHING, no?

I need to lose weight, do some exercise, and find a job... not precisely in that order though.... hehehe... :D In the process, my life will change for better, I am sure. *fingers crossed* ;)

Ha! Do what I did... put on some fake acrilic ones and let yours grow... then when they are long enough, take off the plastic ones and just put the transparent gel on top of yours to protect them from chipping and from your own teeth! :slurp:

Took me two months to grow mine and I am loving it! Everybody gets very surprised when they see I now have my 'real' nails long and looking good! :D

I have a few. I really need to start working out. Since I'm no longer in show choir or marching band, I'm not in shape at all. I'm also going to start to believe in myself a lot more. It's amazing how Disney can really make you believe in yourself even more! Since I decided I wanted to do the College Program, and then getting accepted, I realized that if I put my heart into it, I can do anything. Believe in the Magic!
