For the first time since the end of 2019, DLP is holding its New Years Eve ticketed party this week. The park only holds a few separate admission nights per year and the entertainment on offer sounds very good (WDSP is also open for general admission until 0030)

Sounds fantastic though, I did it a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Actually glad they are doing more of the show/selfie spot style character meet and greets as the lines just got too long for them to be enjoyable at these events.

I have to say, I was never a big fan of Wishes, but that video was simply fantastic!! It's amazing what a few refreshes here and there can do for a show. And frankly, the theme of the show is a perfect way to ring in the New Year. Thanks for sharing!

Great to see Wishes return (in its more-or-less entirety*) to a Disney park! The projection mapping looks great too, and I think I saw lots of Easter eggs from previous shows (bursting/pulsing rays of light from 2005 Wishes, bubble montage from Dreams, maybe some of the Halloween stuff).

Also, did they re-record some of the French lines for the Blue Fairy? I'm rewatching your Wishes video @marni1971 and some line readings sound different but it could just be 2005 audio quality...

They did re-record the Blue Fairy in French! She says the exact same lines but in a different way. It also seems it’s the same person who did the Blue Fairy in 2005!

This is a great example of how they could bring it back to WDW and still use projections, since that's what is required now. I know that's not happening, so I guess I'll hope it's used again for NYE in DLP. I'll fly over for that.
