New years eve help!!

My Family and I are stuck in a dillema about where to go on New Years eve. We have never been to the world during the christmas - new years time and this wil be our first. I am rediculously excited. But my question is where should we go on New Years Eve. Which park has the best fireworks and the best atmosphere and fun? I have heard Epcot from some people ,but also Magic Kingdom. Opinions please and why!!

I went to Disney during Christmas and News Years 3 years ago. It was extremely busy but we had a great time! I would recommend watching the fireworks at Magic Kingdom on December 30th. They do the same show that night as they do on the 31st and it's a lot less crowded! Then I would recommend watching the Epcot fireworks on the 31st. The fireworks at Epcot are amazing!! This way you can see the New Year's fireworks at both Magic Kingdom and Epcot! I don’t recommend the fireworks at Hollywood Studios. I saw them 4 years ago and wasn’t that impressed. The New Year’s fireworks show at Magic Kingdom and Epcot are much better! Hope this helps! :wave:

That's what we're doing - this year is our first Christmas trip as well

I'm planning on doing that also. This is the second year I'll be down for the holiday season but the first time I won't be working on New Years Eve.

You MUST see the Epcot fireworks on NYE. When I saw them a few years ago on NYE, it was brilliant. They did an acknowledgement of each individual country celebrating the New Year. The show was at least double in length and people all around were getting emotional over it. Breathtakingly spectacular.

Have fun, enjoy yourself, and just be warned that whatever park you choose to watch their show in NYE you need to get there that morning. The parks WILL hit maximum capacity. :wave:
