Hi, I read recently that WDW have put new 'walk-thru' security gates into The World that allow you to carry your bag though.
I was wondering if these new gates are safe for people with Pacemakers, as on both trips we have had since I received mine (2017 & 2019) I had to bypass the gates and have to request a pat down/wand instead, which can be annoying for both myself and the security cast members, although I will say that I never had any issues with the procedure, but it does take the Security cast members away from their primary role.
