New WDW Annual Passholder Car Magnets

So saw this bit of info today. For a while now the Mickey head industry de the red circle has been associated with the pasdholder program.

A co-worker of mine received their new AP car magnets and they are drastically different. Gone is the familiar oval with °o° inside AP with WDW at the top.

They now are a Mickey full head inside a red circle with the words passholder.

Another important note. If you type in the URL on the magnet you can see vendor information, etc. kinda cool. I'm not sure how I feel about the new magnet yet. Time will tell. What do you think of it?

We received both of ours earlier this week. A second mailing listed out the news discounts. Two pieces of direct mail in one week? Maybe a little more Ap love this year!

Hopefully so. I received discount mailing but not new magnet. Maybe in a few months for me.... plus received a DVC flyer too.

I have had a WDW AP every year since 2008 and not once have I ever received any mail from them or the car magnets. Maybe they choose not to send those items to Canada which has been the only reason I can think of.

Canadian [and presumably other "foreigners"] AP holders don't get mailings. No Mickey Monitor, no info on discounts and no free gifts.

I've always found it annoying.

You can add not being mailed MagicBands as well. We can't even download the Shop Disney Parks app.

The one thing WDW does mail internationally is documents for Magical Express.

About two or three weeks ago I recieved in the mail a 'old style' magnet, the large circular A *o* P design.
It was a nice surprise, was not at all expecting it.

The difference in the design, and earlier mailing may have been because I am a Disneyland AP holder, not a WDW one.


It's on the side of my fridge now...as I don't own a car.
If I did, I probably would still leave it on the fridge as 'magnet theft' happens out in the field I've been told.
Just like 'antennae ball theft'....some folks i know have had it happen to them.

I haven't gotten one yet, but I did receive the leaflet yesterday about 20% off of select restaurants.

I had one of the older magnets, though. I thought they were cute. Apparently someone else did, too, because someone decided to gank it off of my car.

Orange is a very distinct color. The old one that was black & white you didn't have to worry about clashing with your vehicle color. Just my thought.
