:D My Idea for a New Water Park is an African Theme Water Park! It would be called Kilimanjaro River Rapids! It would include 10 different rides/attrections! They are as follows:
1.Panagni Expeditions-A Raft/Water Ride
2.Kalahari Stream- Lazy River ::snore:
3.Kali Falls-Waterslides (On back)
4.Pangani Traders-Sovenier Shop
5.Kilimajaro Grub-Sit down resatuarant or counter service($$)
6.The Watering Hole-Wave Pool
7.Angola Springs- Cliff to jump or swing into wave pool
8.Botswana Beach-Beach around Wave Pool
9.Namibia Cascades-Waterslide (In Tubes)
10.Maharajah Cliffs-Rock climbing walls
I will post more information about the rides/attractions at a later date! This is just a Rough Draft of the park! PLEASE LIKE MY IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

I enjoyed your ideas, however come up with different names. More original ones if you can. Also i see no group ride, all the major water parks have some group raft ride, Wahoo run at Adventure island Tampa, Their is one at Blizard beach, and you could have one longer and more fun then those 2, combine the effects. Add tunnel partions into mts. water falls. A aferican jungle raft ride could be fun for this park.

Only some sujestions.

My main concern is that the theming here could be rather close to the junglish atmosphere already at Typhoon Lagoon


And yes the names need allot of work......


It would probably also to be helpful to really make the water slides here very unique from the existing parks.


It is a nice start though :)

I have an idea for a water park to go next to Wide World of Sports considering there is space and with Pop Century opening up around the corner it would be a good place for a water park. It would be called Sportsman's Paradise. I've been developing a whole park in my art class so I put the water park idea on the back burner but basically it would be a series of interactive slides and raft rides based around sports. Like one idea was to have a group raft ride or single raft ride to be a hockey theme so when going around the curves of the slide the raft would hit i.e. check different hockey player props. I had a bunch of other ideas but can't think of any at this time it's been awhile since I thought of this idea.

If the Africa waterpark was connected to DAK then it would solve Disney's problem of Animal Kingdom being a hot feeling park.

Good start, but how about some origonal type water attractions. Most of what you've described exist today in Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. Example, take a look at Wet n Wild's Royal Flush, the half pike slide, or the raft slide coaster at that Texas water park(this one jets your tube up the slide as well as down).

An idea for a water park I had in mind was one that would be themed to The Little Mermaid. It might possibly look something like the Mermaid Lagoon in TDS. I'm still brewing up ideas on this particular park.

A rumor of a water park that I've heard in the past was a volcano themed water park. It's name was Ragin Cajin Lagoon. I really like the idea of having water erupt from the top of the park in all directions. Kind of like Typhoon Lagoon's boat. It would prolly call for a jungle theme.
