Speaking of Disney commercials, did anyone catch the Mission:Space one during the Christmas Parade? I got the tail end of it and all I saw was an astronaut floating through space and it said "Mission:Space coming 2003 to Epcot." Did anyone see the entire commercial? I'm interested to know if it said anything new we didn't already know, although I doubt it.

omg!is that what it was!?!i was at my cousins house with my headphones on and looked over at the tv since the parade was on and saw an astronaught but i wasnt paying attention.im feeling very stupid right now:hammer:

Ya my parents were watching it downstairs and they started calling me to come downstairs and so by the time I got down (being the lazy person I am) it was ending. They were like "It was a commercial for that Mission Space Station or whatever it's called." And so I asked "Well what did it say about it?" And they said "We don't know, we couldn't hear because we were yelling for you to come downstairs."

Has anyone seen the one with the boy and girl sitting on a bench and the narrator says soemthing like what is more magical than a father and daughter spending time together. And then he says a brother and sister spending time together.:hurl:

Yes, I saw practically all of those commercials. I love the Brother-Sister, Father-Daughter one.

The one that came on Beauty and the Beast DVD is cute too, the one where they can't sleep because they're too excited.

Well I take it back, it wasn't really a "commercial," it was when they were talking about Epcot and all the attractions and then it had maybe a 10-15 second blurb about Mission:Space. The only thing really that it said was it said something like "Each person will have a role to play in the mission..." and then just talked about how it's gonna be as close to going into space as you can get without actually going into space. My dad had taped the parade for my little 2 yr old nephew who loves Disney World and loved watching the parade, so I took the tape and fast fwded until I found it. Nothing new in it, though.
P.S. I ordered the new Vacation Planning Video for this year (we don't actually need help planning the vacation, but we get them every year because they're just fun to watch) and I wonder if it will have anything about Mission:Space since it is the 2003 video. Has anyone else gotten it yet that could tell us?

Nothing remotely about M:S... Just the usual offering of the "blockbuster" attractions in each of the parks...
Buzz, Splash, Space, BTMRR, etc in MK...
The Countries, Illuminations, and a brief "sample" of FW for Epcot...
etc...
Unfotunately... no (new) info... about (new) attractions..

It is Magic because my eldest two actually behave like humans when were there, well they stop fighting at least.

Saw some of the new ones. They're pretty cute. Anyone seen the one where the girl traps Tinker Bell like a firefly? I thought that one was pretty cute.

I didn't like the firefly (aka tinkerbell) one as much as the others. My favorite commercials promoting the 100 years of magic celebration are: the boy talking to his dad about his report on a famous person, Walt Disney, and the girl in the spelling bee who stars to spell "microphone" but is interupted by the singing of "M-I-C-K-E-Y, M-O-U-S-E!":sohappy:
