Hey Everyone,

Just got back :( from an incredible WDW Vacation. Although it was only 4 days long we had a blast.

Resort: Stayed at Disney's All Star Music Resort. Resort was SOOO much fun. Room was average. ( I rreally wish they had REEAL soap and shampoo. The squirty thing in the shower just wasn't the same.) Anyways...... the Disney Bus system was a big hit however the bus drivers aren't very happy ppl!!1

OKay.....
At Animal Kingdom I had a great time. The Festival OTLK was GREAT!!! Tarzan was good too but the main singer was more into himself then the audience. The new Dino coaster thing IS AWFUL!!! Get it out of Disney World and put it at Six Flags kids area.

MK: Perfect as usual.... I feel that Pirates needs major updating!!! Also.... ALien was incredible but I'm 18..... a chidl would probably have a heart attack. They need to stress this rides intensity beofre the preshow. I love Fast Pass USE IT saved us lots of time. Disney SADCT Parade was great and actlly Cruela De'Vill took me out with the little kids during one of the stops.... kinda embarrassing but fun.

Thats all for now I will finish this post realll soon...... Now peace my friends...... there's a great big beautiful tmorrow.... Herc

Would you be able to give a fe wmore detail on the hotel that you stayed in? We're arriving for a vacation on the 6th of March, and I haven't really hear much about the resort....

Was the bus system fast... did you have to wait much? Which building do you recommend that we stay in? We're think of Calypso, but its 10 dollars more a night and we're not sure if it's worth it.... any other helpful hints about the resort would be splendid...... :sohappy:

Thanx

I would definitely spend the extra $10 for the preffered room, the room itself is the same, but saves lots of walking to the food court, bus stops and the pool. I love the All Star Resorts, it's a great value, but don't be expecting a 4 star hotel. We stayed at ASMusic this past September, and stayed in the Calypso building. The only other tip I have is to request a ground floor room, saves time with stairs and elevators.

The Busses at the All Star resorts come very frequently, although sometimes are crowded. Overall a very family friendly resort. An I would definitely stay there again, in fact I'm staying at AS Movies this September!

wdwkid17 I love reading trip reports, sounds like you enjoyed yourself. Keep it coming! Any pictures???

Adding onto my Trip Report

I'm back.......

That was my first time staying at a Disney resort and I would NEVER stay off property now. The buss system came between 5-15 mins to arrive at the resort. So really not bad at all. To get to the resort take the Mears bus system it only cost $25 and is very reliable.

The resort was alot of fun. Room was normal but decorated nicely. The pool areas were great.... the water is VERY warm and the food court has everything you need.

We stayed at Calypso buildings..... very close to the pools, food court and busses......... so for extra $10 i enjoyed it.

At MGM: We did almost everything. I really hope they do some updating at MGM. Update Star Tours, INdiana Jones and Great Movie Ride would be great. I did Millionare for my first time IT IS SOOO MUCH FUN!!1 DO IT>>>> Fantasmic ( as always ) was incredible. Except a funny thign happened....... before the Pocahantas segment when the cannon usually goes off... I saw them light the cannon but NO BOOM!!! Kinda funny......

At Epcot...... Mission Space is looking sweet... EPCOT Fountian is still out of order......... no clue what they are doing....... I saw Illuminations twice.... my opion of best seats is along the lagoon right before and in fornt of MExico.... great view with not many trees......

Hey, if anyoen has anymore questions please let me know.......

Have a great night........... "I pray for God and his angels to bless me" ---- THOND

Peace all

Well, the 10 bucks will do it for sure, but if you simply ask if you could pick your room when you arrive, they are almost always willing to accomodate you!:)

We stayed at ASMovies this past visit and I asked if we could pick which building. She whipped out a map and said, "Have a look!"

We picked the Dalmations building, right next to the pool and Food Court, and we even got the thrid floor corner room closest to it all. Asking will get you what you want 90% of the time, as long as you don't demand it.
