New Topics Suggestions For 2025 Photography Contest

As we approach the end of 2024, it is time to offer suggestions of new topics for our 2025 Official Photography Contest. I intend to remove 2 to 4 topics from this year that received the lowest number of entries and replace them with new topics. Therefore, I love to hear your suggestions for new ones.

Please list them here. You're welcome to write a short blurb on each topic on why you think it will make a good topic for our contest.

Unlike previous years where there was a vote on which topics are selected, I will decide on which ones to use, unless there is a revolt and I get overthrown on January 6 (if you know, you know ).

Im on my phone looking at the current topics list as best I can as a passenger while driving, so forgive me if these are current topics that I missed:

Entertainment/Show - a photo of any show/performance from a Disney park (thinking of things like beauty and the beast in DHS, frozen singalong, the castle forecourt stage show). I saw musicians, but didn't see this

Nighttime spectacular - I see fireworks, but I'm thinking of photos from things like Luminous or World of Color (or the former show at AK) where it may be more water/laser/projection focused than fireworks.

Aerial view? Photos taken not at ground level (for example, from the Skyliner, monorail, Mickey's fun wheel, swiss family Robinson looking out, while on dumbo looking out, etc)

I like those suggestions. Although the stage show should also include cruises.

I’d also like to suggest a couple more:

Disney Castles : any picture of a Disney Castle. That could have a wide definition and encompass things like the Lego castles, Akershus, the Beast’s castle etc.

Laugh out Loud: where something in the photo just makes you laugh. Could be a juxtaposition or a daft pose / feature related to the location. And any Disney location.

Disney Resorts: any photo taken at a Disney resort / cruise ship.

Queue or walkthru details: anything from a ride queue, the Treehouses, Labyrinth, AK trails etc.
