New Tomorrowland Posters

Hello everyone! I have started creating some more of my posters. These new ones commemorate some of the defunct attractions from Tomorrowland. I love making these posters, and I have always admired the style of Tomorrowland, even if it has become a little dated over the years. I wanted to make these a little different than my EPCOT ones; a little more detailed and colorful, but still minimal and exciting.
I started with my favorite old ride, the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter, even though it scared the you-know-what out of me when I was a kid. I still thought it was awesome, and it is a shame it was replaced with you-know-what.
I hope everyone likes this one and the rest to come!
Prints are available at my Imagekind gallery

Very cool! Like the color scheme, and it has that 1930s-retro look that is our Tomorrowland.

Keep'em coming! :sohappy:

I like it a lot! I agree it really fits into the style used on a lot of the posters seen around New Tomorrowland.

If I may make one quibble, though. The broken and empty container is a bit of a spoiler to anyone that hadn't actually visited the attraction. Seeing a vague silhouette of the creature (safely inside the unbreakable glass, of course) would keep it mysterious, yet "sell" the star of the attraction without giving the escape away.

I realize that your posters are less about "what Disney would have done" and more about evoking a feel of the past and obviously everyone knows the creature escapes, so...don't mind me.

Thanks guys! I'll do my best to keep pumping them out. I've got some other Disney poster ideas that fit into different sets as well, so I may jump around a little, but for now I'll stick to Tomorrowland.

Seeing as how the attraction is long gone, I have no problems with spoilers. You can't really spoil something if it can never be experienced again anyways. And I decided to "break" the tube because that is the main idea of the attraction. It's only after the alien escapes that the visceral, binural experience begins.

Can you do one for If You Had Wings?

We'll see. I want to do at least The Timekeeper and Carousel of Progress, and then I have a couple other EPCOT ones that I wanted to explore. And plus I'm making an iPhone case for myself on the side. So we'll see.

Ok, after taking a quick hiatus from this project to do my Horizons tribute, I am back with a new Tomorrowland poster - The Star Jets! Blast off to new heights with this predecessor to the Astro Orbiter!

Prints available at: http://www.scbb11Sketch.imagekind.com

As usual, comments are welcome and encouraged! I have a Timekeeper poster in the works now with so many different directions I could take it. I'll figure it out soon!
