Hello, Perky!

I was in the DLP resort last month by myself. The Disney hotels were too expensive for me, so I stayed here.

It was 100 Euro a night. I don't know if that is beyond your budget. It is Disney affiliated, so they provide free transportation to and from the parks. The price also included breakfast. The shuttle took approximately 7 minutes.
I paid 139 Euro for a 3 day adult park hopper. Since your child is so young, you will not be able to ride everything, but you will need to stop for breaks. I did DLP in one day, the Studios the next and then repeats of favorites on the third. I hope this helps.

If you can afford it I say go for the DL hotels. There are a good number to choose from which cover a range of prices but don't be supprised if it's alot more than your average hotel (I think it's always about £500 for two adults for 3 nights). Breakfast is included although the quality varies between hotels. They are all buffet though and the food is usually pretty good.

Consider the Davey Crocket ranch, if you don't mind driving this should be a cheaper way to stay on Disney property. You will need a car though as it's some way from the parks - all other resorts have free shuttle busses and most (maybe all?) are within walking distance (about 5 - 10 minuites walk).

If you take the eurotunnel (no car) then you can actually be taken all the way into the heart of Disneyland which makes things very easy. you can also catch a train from here back to Paris if you need to.

There are plenty of other options - some good third pary hotels are listed on disneyland.co.uk - I suggest you check this out for more info about prices / tickets etc.

Feel free to ask more questions!

P.S. I would suggest going to paris and then disneyland. After the fun of DL, Paris may seem a little dull.... maybe thats just me...

One more thing...

I forgot to mention that I think Disney are still running promotions which will get your Son in for free (play and stay for free). Check the website for more info.
