We always enjoy visiting "home" :inlove: and would like to try new things this Christmas. We will be there during the end of Dec./beginning of Jan. for 8 days and 7 nights and this is our second time staying onsite. We've done all the parks. Please give us your recommendations for new things to try that we might have missed on our last visits. Thank you!!!

We have rented boats the past 2 visits on Seven Seas Lagoon. It's a good time, even though the boats are too slow lol. If you have children in your party there is a "Shoe Tree" in Bay Lake, that's a fun sight. We also rented bikes this visit and rode around Ft Wilderness...Went to the stables and on a few of the trails. The decorated golf carts and campsites were neat.

We also had a reservation for parasailing, it ended up getting cancelled due to wind that day. I didn't reschedule, but that looks fun as well.

Well, there is obviously the new drone show in Disney Springs. Trees and/or gingerbread models will still be up in the resorts.

Trees to see include: GF, WL, AKL, Yacht Club, Beach Club, and CS.

See gingerbread in: GF (house); CR (Frozen model); Beach Club (Merry Go Round).

See also a model Christmas Town in Yacht Club.

Getting back to the parks, if all you've done is do the attractions, try soaking in the atmosphere. At Epcot especially, there are the storytellers around WS for Holidays around the World. Also you can could stop and listen to Voices of Liberty in American Adventure who will be singing Christmas Carols during this time.

Another vote for Jingle Bell Jingle BAM!

Mini-golf is also fun at WDW. We really like the WinterSummerland course, especially at Christmastime it seems extra festive.

If you go to Disney Springs the new drone show is pretty cool, and the Christmas tree trail is worth a festive 5-10 minutes.

Thank you! Do you happen to know if the new Christmas parade that has Vanellope on it is only for the MVMCP or can also be seen without admission for that separate event? Thanks!

I think MVMCP tickets end close to Christmas and the nighttime entertainment becomes available to everyone at that time.

The Christmas parade will run regularly in the parks after all the parties are done as a previous poster said.
