Perhaps Mara will decide for you before you discover your destiny at the front of the queue you're guided to...

(Just make sure not to look into the Eye of Mara at the end of the launch tunnel...) :lookaroun

Yea, Im confused too. But mainly all I would want to know is if it will still be possible to choose your side, 1. Before the refurb, a cm at the fastpass/standby merge would "direct" the people to go on one side, but you could still choose to go the other way if the other side seem to have less people. Will you still be able to do this? And 2, is the fastpass faster or slower with this new set up? 3, could they possible incoporate a single's line? And lastly 4, does this make the line longer than before the refurb since you'll be switching in the main building like the olden days. Thanks.

It's kind of difficult to understand, it's all about how many guests are coming through the door/the wait time. Taking into consideration FastPass, the CM who is directing people where to go has to be very diligent.

Yes, the drawing is horrible, but it'll get the job done.

Guests filter in on either side of the control tower, FastPass on the right standby on the left. From there they meet up with the CM behind the booth and are directed wherever it's most convenient for the flow to continue smoothly. While it's all open-ended on the CM's end, guests can flow in a variety of ways (horribly drawn red lines up there) through the corrals, which also have the ability to shrink or enlarge depending on how many people they need to accommodate. There's two loading stations, and since both can load simultaneously, there's no need to ever bring standby and FastPass together.

If there's little or no wait, then guests are filtered behind the wall right into the back loading station and I assume the front loading station would be open as well, removing some of the switches from the corral. If there's a bit of a wait, FastPass goes behind and standby in the front of the wall (larger red line) giving standby a bit longer of a wait, and accommodating more guests. The same thing will happen if there's a large amount of guests, the standby corrals expand all the way and FastPass gets filtered behind the wall again. The front loading looks like it's now meant for standby, with the back being wheelchair and FastPass loading.
This diagram does its purpose well. Thank you! :D

I hope you can still choose which side you want to ride on.
Yes, and if there still is the fact that one side is speedier while another is more bumpier... :lookaroun:dazzle::lol:

That is so good, I will officially start referring to our lift hill as "The Tunnel of Torment."

You HAD to look didn't you!

Mara: "This is not the queue you're looking for."

Everyone else(in unison): "This is not the queue we're looking for."

J/K! :xmas:

Couldn't resist the obscure star wars reference.
