The Diamond Horseshow Review Saloon, that closed feb 1st, for good, will reopen, with an new brand new character based show on JULY 1ST.

This has been officially released to the entire WDW Cast via the Cast Portal, a Cast member only web site.

They have made the building a restricted area, as changes will be made to the inside, and rehersing will be taking place soon.

This makes 4 new attractions opening/reopening between now and october. Sounds like Disney might be starting to make a comeback.

Thanks for the news! It's good the place isn't vacant too long...but I hope this proves to be a 'hit' in whatever way it can. My only requests are the original wit and "feel" - in whatever way it can be preserved.

Say, speaking of Frontierland stage shows, do you have any Country Bear news? I've been in the dark since January, and the cast members say there isn't much to report.

As far as CBJ goes, nothing to report. Attendence is still good, shows are filling during the peek hours of 11am to 5pm. It opens one hour after the park does and stays open to park close, or 9pm, whatever comes first. Sometimes it stays open to 10, when there is an eride night, or park is open to 12 or later. So as far as attractions that open late/close early, this one is open the most. Tike, opens at 10, closes at 6,7 or 8. Riverboat is 11 to 5 or 6. HoP is 10 to around 6.

That's great news about the Jubilee Hall Show!
For a while there I was afraid the building would turn into a storage facility!! :eek:

Hopefully the new show will be as fun as the old one!

I look forward to seeing it soon!

BTW, this building was used for an Improve Comedy show during Grad nights, and at the time there was nothing different about the building, so as that was just last week, and July is 6 weeks away, I wouldnt expect much changes to the building itself, just the show.

The new Diamond Horseshoe, Mission: Space, Mickey, what's the last one? Are you counting the Great Movie Ride?

He may have been talking about the new nighttime show/fireworks at the MK

At least they're putting something in there right away....or is that a bad thing?

Rushed attractions would more than likely have a noticeable low quality factor to them, but seeing as this will probably focus more on the show than the actual staging and stuff, one would suspect that they had been working on the script and props, characters, etc. even before the Horseshoe closed..right?

Let's hope the show is a crowd pleaser (and hopefully as enjoyable for adults as it is for kids...!!!)

That would be cool... a buzz attraction on one side of the park with a woody attraction on the other. :)
